If he is such a terrible coach and person, why does everyone want him!?!??
Yes….recruiting a stellar early signing period class, securing Blake baker, and searching All over town for a yoga place where the temperature is hot. Gotcha ??
He would have been a fun guy to have a beer with and talk

Great post! Kiffin is really the best we could have gotten and don’t think he’ll go anywhere.l for a while. Even if he left in the future, we would get someone great because of who we have become.
He made a huge difference and brought the magic back all the way from 1958. It was a long drought. He was definitely the first stepping stone. He made football fun again

I think Saban helped us A TON. And the fact that LSU would let Orgeron come back signaled that we were flexible and would let him be autonomous and call the shots and build the staff he needs .
Saban was clutch. He functioned a bit as a kingmaker imho

That we are a premier perennial powerhouse in college football and have a highly coveted coaching position.
In the late 90s, I was in college and we were TERRIBLE. It changed with Gerry Dinardo and later Nick Saban. We weren’t anything close to the beast we are now.
Today we are a prize, a main attraction, a pinnacle, and among the best places to play, coach, and cheer in all college football.
Buckle up ….we are gonna be cooking up good stuff for years to come . Proud to be a Tiger.

How so…
We will get a good coach who wins. While I
Cannot guarantee a championship coach…we will get a good coach.
In addition,
I think we pick the right one this time

The lsu job is a great job.. Well find someone good to match the role of the covered head coaching position
Can we all agree on a few things?

We don’t know if lane Kiffin is coming to LSU
We don’t know exactly when he announces his decision
No one has verifiable insider information
We all hate ole miss
We are going to get a good coach regardless. Maybe we should just all chill out and enjoy the process.
Can’t wait for the tigers to be dominant again!

Impeccable analogy—-hope it doesn’t hold true!

Yeah, it was cringy, but it was in the moment. Hell, if I had been there, maybe I'da danced. I wouldn't make a habit of it, but *meh* who cares.

I understand that - functionally works out the same. Wish there were regulations decoupling a school and an NIL deal overtly or under the table
.
.
ummmm......see Deion Sanders/JAckson state. What you mean Amazon doesn't sell NIL attachments for Colleges? weird.
I wish NIL deals were not attached to universities and

could not be used to pay essentially a player to play at your school. I admit that I do not understand all the workings. But in the NFL, you can't just say, I'll go to the school who gets me the most $$$$$$ coming out of college.
If NIL deals were not tied to the university, maybe we could have some vestige of the the past with players playing where they feel they will succeed long term, where they gel with coaching staff, or for a university they love.
Now coming out of high school it's gonna be who gives me the "Rolly, Rolly Rolly...ice on my wrist..." Gordon, Morris, and Dudley-Debosier better start cranking out that cheeese

I guess if you piss off a bunch of schools equally it doesn't feel like a dig at just one school. Still, just dumb
just disappointed he did not pick LSU

Agreed - we can all not watch sporting events or anything football related, but we also can call out what we don't like when we see it. That's just normal
