re: The Waters pass was not dumb, and not calling a time out isn't a bad call

It is not easy for Taylor to handle a ball coming from that far.

Is this where you tell us a half court shot is the same as a layup? Because they both have a chance to go in?

Yep. That's exactly what I meant.

This is ridiculous. It's the same exact pass he handles usually multiple times a game. A few feet doesn't change that.

I agree. This kind of loss happens in basketball. This shouldn't change an yone's opinion on either the coaching or the players.

This team is excellent.

What’s crazy is he’s not the only person starting these retarted threads. Just goes to show how many LSU fans don’t watch basketball much.

I had to re-read that. You have to be trolling.

WATERS PASS:

It was a terrible decision....the arky player was standing there in perfect position to defend the play....run the clock down with the lead and set up a play.

NOT CALLING TIME OUT:

Was a perfect time for the head coach to get ev1 calmed down and on the same page....once again....set up a play and tell the players how to manage the game.

Come on man. You are seriously underestimating how difficult that is to pull off.

I hope someone makes a gif or posts a video so you can see that there was a tall defender with his hands up no more than 3 feet in front of Taylor. That was a very, very difficult pass to catch because of how high Waters had to throw it over the defense. It was far from wide open.

Actually the pass was bad and the failure to call timeywas equally as bad.

Just one loss but don’t cover for mistakes.

If that's the case, then I'm 100% wrong about it not being a poor decision. Like I said, I saw it being open in live action.

You can keep repeating this, but it doesn't change the fact that you are wrong.

I wish it wasn't, man. I'm a HUGE Waters fan and I hate to think of where this program would be right now if he didn't come to LSU last year. It just looked like a bone headed play to me in this instance. Have to hope they can learn from this and be better because of it.

Alright, well tomorrow go find an 8 foot goal. Have somebody throw you an alley oop from the free throw line and then one from half court. Report back and tell me if they were the same.
