This LSU team could easily be 1-2, with the offensive difficulties that clearly come from the coaching staff not trusting this new offensive line. HOWEVER, they are what their record is, 3-0. Great teams find ways to win even when they aren't playing to their potential.

I predict that this week the offense gets right and builds confidence, and the battle test of a true road game in Clemson will serve this LSU team well in Oxford. Incremental improvement from every guy on offense doing their job just a bit better will lead to extending drives and more points.

Then go into your first off-week 5-0 and get healthy.

It's going to be a fun ride Tiger Fans, enjoy these moments!!!

growing pains

With a head coach in year 4, and a QB who is in his fifth year on the team.

we owned clemson, totally out played them. We kneeled the ball inside the 5 to finish off against Florida. Idk where you get 1-2 from

I think he's referring to the new players and starters on the team. 5 new OL, 2 new starting WRs, a new starting TE, 2 new starting DEs, 2 new starting safeties, 2 new starting CBs and a lot of new rotational players.

3-0 is a big deal. I'm of the mind we don't really know what we have on offense as fans yet.

Thus far our completely retooled offensive line has played the following games.

Clemson: Elite defensive linemen in an extremely hostile environment for game 1.

LA Tech: was supposed to be a tune up game to get things in sync but instead our center and centerpiece to our OL overhaul goes down on the first play. Offense never really finds a rhythm.

Florida: Florida team with backs against the wall and elite defensive interior with Moore playing at maybe 70 percent. Nuss except for one drive never looks comfortable.

I'm not saying no one should be concerned but we are 3-0 and have SELU to try to get things polished up. Let's see how we look come Ole Miss. If we are still lethargic offense fans can sound the alarms until then let's enjoy this 3-0 start a little.

Team has a chance to be 5-0 at the first bye week....

That is huge.

Look at the country and tell me a complete team?

Georgia? They looked pretty meh against Austin Peavy (Doesnt Matter because we wouldn't play them till post season)

Tennessee? Defense looks not great (Doesnt matter because we wouldnt play them till post season)

Ole Miss? No Defense

Vandy? Maybe... but probably not

South Carolina? Offense doesn't look too great and they just got the doors blown off by

Alabama? Maybe... I still think they look pretty soft on the offensive lines and they have lost to the one good team they have played.

Texas AM? Maybe... probably not

Arky? meh

Oklahoma? Probably the most complete team we will play this year and its the last week of the season... we have plenty of time to get there
