To understand how good a season CEH is having running the ball this year, here's the most eye popping stat:

In 2018 CEH broke 40 tackles on 137 total carries, that's a 29.2% broken tackle rate which was just above the SEC average of 26.7%.

In 2019 CEH has broken 43 tackles on 65 carries, that's a 66.2% broken tackle rate which is #1 in the SEC and no other RB is over 50% at the moment.

Dude may not have blistering breakaway speed, but he works damn hard for every yard.

He doesn't turn the ball over. I think that's probably at the top of my list.

He's better than this most on the board make him out to be. However, both freshman have more pure ability at the position than CEH.

He is the best pass blocker of the group, too..

Love the guy, but can’t say he doesn’t turn the ball over when he’s fumbled in two straight games...

he is just a straight up football player
runs hard as fook
has a sick jump cut

People need to be glad we have him instead of 2 freshman in pass pro.

Yeah he has left a few on the ground already. I want to see how he does against a good dline on 3rd and 2 before singing his praises. So far LSU hasnt been tested against a good dline with this offense. Will be a good barometer for the upcoming SEC games and possibly more

He has 1 turnover his entire college career.

This narrative needs to stop NOW.

I don't agree with this. I think Texas d-line is underrated. As far as scheme, Florida's front 7 is just like Texas. Texas got pressure all game, but Burrow was just too good for it. CEH did very well against Texas.

In fairness, they were the first 2 fumbles of his career. I have a hard time calling that a trend or an alarming tendency.

He shows up everyday and does work. He is what he is but I appreciate a guy that makes himself the best he can be

He also wasn’t close to a feature back before this season. But the kid is awesome imo, literally lacks one single attribute, speed. In a game where we’ve seen transcendent backs without speed, we seem to set a low ceiling on this kid for some reason.

What also hasn't been stated is that he is a true class act and a gentleman! He's the kind of guy you'd be happy your daughter chose to marry!

While our Oline is GREAT at pass blocking, we still aren't there yet with the run game.

Thank goodness CEH can break tackles at the LOS like he does.

He’s great, but ball security is actually his only real weakness besides not having breakaway speed.

Jacob Hester fumbled on his very first carry but didn’t lose the ball once for the rest of his career IIRC. CEH needs to work on his ball security.

The guy is a stud. Perfect for thr Spread/RPO.

Making big yards without downfield blocking.

He lacks explosiveness and top end speed and power. But he is a great in pass protection, great vision, is super shifty, and runs hard for his size. He fits perfect in the new offense.
