SEC play is officially upon us and I think this team has momentum heading into SEC play. Yes it’s cupcakes but the offense finally looks like their figured out their identity and best receiver group and the defense has slowly been coming along. With Ward probably returning this week along with maybe Ryan we should see a boost in terms of safety play . This roster is still loaded with talent I truly think we can still go on to have a good season but it starts with handling business Saturday

I don't really disagree with your post. I just wonder what the ceiling is for this team

As do I. On paper they have all the talent in the world outside of poor o line play. This team will go as far as the coaching allows them to. Daronte jones and Peetz have improved lately but we’ll see if that’s legit this weekend even against a team as week as Miss state it’s still the SEC

LSU season was done after UCLA. Not beating Bama and will probably lose this week.

Naw, this season gonna be entertaining one way or another. Either it turns into a dumpster fire and the entertaining coaching search is on or we find a way to get 8-9 wins and put ourself in position to contend again in 2022

I really don’t understand these the team found their identity comments. Football is all about matchups and personnel. What works against C Michigan might not work against Auburn. Just because it worked one week does not mean it will always work.

Good defenses will absolutely try to take away what worked for us last game. Can we adjust? If so, would we then have found our “new “ identity?

I've loss my glasses and couldn't read the opening post-cliffs???

Just busting balls with op obviously, and WE ALL make errors from time to time. I've made a few on here over the years, and took my lumps for it.

But it ASTOUNDS me how many times LSU can't afford to loose the next game, or we have an outstanding wr core. And perhaps my favorite, that is featured on dandy don periodically, in the early GOINGS of the game. I swear, the Louisiana public schools are horrible.

The CMU win really did a number on you guys.

Not much you can do with a sub par QB and a pitiful OL.

UCLA didn’t find their identity against LSU.

They asserted it.

Good coaches produce an identity.
Bad coaches that are busy trying to find an identity find it too late.

And the team played like they didn't know the season had started.

This is correct but at this point what should they do? Keep running for no gain or say frick that and throw a few quick screens and pop passes in place of the running game?
