Ok that's called knowing what you are doing. They have only been to the playoffs three straight years and are coming off back to back 13 win seasons. Yup the Saints are stupid for not filling their roster with SEC players.

Your words not mine.
I’m just pointing out that the Saints haven’t gone with SEC trend. It’s not just that they avoid LSU players, but they avoid SEC players too. They seem to like Big Ten or taking chances on non power five talent. It seems to work.

Yes it does..... so who cares????????
And in my defense I want former LSU players do well, BUT they don’t play for LSU anymore so it doesn’t bother me as much as it bothers others.

It's really amazing that people actually think the saints should go after the highest rated LSU player available on their board instead of the highest rated player available on the entire board regardless of school affiliation. Do you realize how bad any team would be of they used that concept in the draft?

This. LSU fans feel disrespected by the Saints.

I guess you're going to conveniently leave out free agents that Payton has signed.
Skyler Green
Marlon Favorite
Randall Gay
Matt Flynn
Darry Beckwith
Travin Dural UDFA
Rickey Jefferson UDFA
Sean Payton also brought in Jacob Hester and Jordan Jefferson in for tryouts during a mini camp in 2014.

As an LSU fan and a Saints fan, the continued bitching and obsession over the Saints and LSU players baffles me.
Who give a shite.
I pull for LSU on Saturday and the Saints in Sunday. I hope LSU players have success in the NFL AND hope they lose when the play the Saints.
Can’t figure out why that’s so difficult for some.
And for the people here bitching that the Saints don’t draft LSU players while at the same time saying you don’t watch the NFL: then why do you give a frick who drafts former tigers.

CSP been there since 2006....2 players selected from a school that yearly puts out top talent into the NFL and is a 50 minute drive up the interstate.
Right. It’s not like we’re expecting the Saints to draft Tulane players. LSU is a football powerhouse.

I care, I’d rather watch a Burrow, a Peterson, a a Jones, or a White on the Saints where I could easily follow them instead of another team. I understand that it’s not in the cards that all these guys could play fir theSaints but it would sure be nice if one or two did .

Maybe...Just Maybe...If they had a few more from players from the SEC vice the Little Weiner Conference they'd have 3 Superbowl Championships!

That said, it seems dubious to me that an NFL head coach would intentionally pick worse players because of some grudge or prejudice against a school.
I agree with this. And the Saints sure helped LSU out last year by sharing their offense...but the few draft picks still seem surprising considering the number of good players coming from LSU that Saints fans would like to see. Not even a WR or DB.

Shared? LSU paid Brady to help install the Saints RPO. The Saints and Sean Payton didn't SHARE a damn thing! In fact, Sean Payton was pissed when Brady left and downplayed the value that Brady brought to the Saints offense. SP told Brady he was making a MISTAKE!

I'm not complaining. And I'm apathetic whether the Saints draft Tigers or not.
But when I come to tRant and see Saints' loyalists crapping all over Brockers and Whitworth, I could care less if the whole Saints org broke off into the Mississippi and floated into the GOM.
Geaux Tigers!

SP allowed Brady and his OC to meet with Ensminger in the first place to share offensive ideas.
