Yeah, I don't think it would be a shootout. tOSU would be on the field a lot more, and Beanie would rush the shite out of the ball on that defense, imo.

other than the fact that i don't think OSU could maintain a run-only philosophy, they would have to stop WV more times than WV stopped them. i don't see OSU stopping WV many, if any, times

I think WVU will have success early on, but their running game is one injury (and Noel Devine and Pat White aren't exactly stout) away from disaster.

this is like SFP pimping Nebraska's offense when they scored 39 against Kansas while their defense gave up 76. I didnt have the heart to tell him NU scored 39 because the KU defense was exhausted from being on the field so long because the KU offense would score a TD in 4 plays

Pat White would be picking his frickin teeth off of the sideline and cry out "NO MAS" if he played OSU. He's a pussy to begin with. Funny how he got a little stinger and didn't play for half the game against Pitt...that turned out well.
Noel Divine on the other hand would probably hurt a little though.

SFP WVU would never have the ball, Tressel would two TE, FB, RB smash them to death. the 3-3-5 with those light D-linemen and small LBers would be blown off the ball
and WVU never faced a rushing team like tOSU. LSU has big and quick D-linemen that controlled the LoS on tOSU. WVU has undersized guys that use speed and pursuit.
