He is an unexplained phenomenon that may turn into either gold or dust (or transfer). We haven’t seen him play one snap under the lights. He was a highly rated quarterback during his years in high school and was heavily recruited by top rated programs like auburn and Georgia. Didn’t play during his senior year because of an injury. In 2014 as a sophomore he completed 205-of-358 passes for 3,124 yards with 31 TDs and 13 interceptions ... Rushed for 1,402 yards and 18 TDs ... As a freshman in 2013, completed 122-of-235 passes for 2,013 yards, 27 touchdowns and nine interceptions ... Added 637 rushing yards and 12 TDs. Standing at 6’2 and weighing in at 231 pounds Lowell seems to have certain intangibles physically that supersede Myles Brennan. Let the dreaded quarterback controversy begin because as soon as the bowl game ends it is officially open season. We will NEVER be able to win a national championship with a quarterback lacking the ability to make plays with his feet consistently and to make tough throws in clutch moments. Both quarterbacks have a lot to prove but personally I? believe that Lowell Narcisse has the higher ceiling and will Win many games at LSU during his time here. Dilly dilly

I just hope whoever doesn't land the starting job, doesn't immediately transfer.

The last 3 LSU QBs who played for a NC all had the ability to move the chains with their feet?

What makes you people think this? I can't for the life of understand what gives you the impression that a team can't win a Natty without a mobile QB when Bama has done it 3 times in the last decade and Florida State did it (Jamis was not fleet of foot).

to make tough throws in clutch moments

What about Lowell's past makes you think he has the ability to do so? Not to mention this requires and deep understanding of defenses. Lowell spent his entire HS career in the gun making (for the most part) intermediate throws.

Completely agree, and may the best man win.

I want to believe this, I really do. But everything about the kid points to more of the JJ/BH mold and not the Cam Newton/Deshaun Watson mold. Time will tell, but I honestly can't see him being all the dangerous in that SEC. He just simply hasn't proven to have the passing ability to make his legs dangerous.

If you can measure the trait, it's tangible.

Impressive...I would say give him the nod for sure if it wasn't for this by his competition.
Miles Brennan ranks as the No. 4 pocket passer by ESPN ... Listed as the No. 6 pro-style quarterback in the 247Sports composite rankings ... Holds the Mississippi high school career records for total offense (16,168 yards), passing touchdowns (166) and passing yards (15,138) ... Completed 275-of-399 passes for 3,982 yards with 48 touchdowns and only three interceptions as senior ... Did not record an interception until the postseason of his senior campaign ... Led the offense with 455 yards rushing and nine touchdowns during his senior season ... Passed for 5,248 yards, 53 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 15 games as a junior ... Broke the St. Stanislaus College single-season record for passing yards and touchdowns during his sophomore campaign as he completed 409-of-582 passes for 5,797 yards and 64 touchdowns with only 14 interceptions ... Led St. Stanislaus to consecutive appearances in the 2014 and 2015 Class 4A state championship game ... Received the inaugural Mississippi Class 4A Mr. Football in 2016 ... Named the Biloxi Sun Herald Player of the Year in 2014, 2015 and 2016, becoming the first football player to earn the honor in three consecutive seasons
