I couldn't get over how good the SUPER DOME looked on TV last night. The field, the Allstate Sugar Bowl logo, the bright lighting. Usually it looks dark as frick in there.

Kudos to whomever was responsible for making the improvements. That place has never looked better.

And the night time aerial shots were cool b.

Have they actually made improvements? Bathrooms were worse than tiger stadium back in 2019 for the championship.

It’s the only neutral site LSU should even consider playing

That Houston game at nrg in two years does nothing for recruiting anymore

The dome is special. It’s going to be a really sad day when they eventually decide to replace it with one of those new cookie cutter stadiums with no soul. And what’s worse is it will probably be on the North Shore.

Shouldn’t your pictures match what you’re talking about?

And yes the Superdome has made major upgrades in the last couple years. It’s really nice in person.

Yes they have made lots of improvements.

And no sports facility can possibly be worse than some of the tiger stadium restrooms.

Absolutely. It was done right. It's light years beyond what it was.

This won’t happen.

And if it does you won’t be alive for it to make you sad.

Looked the same to me.

It has been nicer since the renovations that did about fifteen or so years ago.

What’s the newest NFL stadium? Allegient in Vegas? The Superdome is a better place to watch a game. Seriously.

Lipstick on a pig. The Superdome is arse. Needs to be torn down and replaced with a modern structure.

It is a joke and if anyone has travelled north of I-10, you would know that too.

The Dome will soon be the second oldest stadium in the NFL behind only Lambeau Field. It has held up well over time, and was the best of all the domes of its era, but there is no question it is functionally obsolete. The multi purpose architecture was designed to attract a MLB team that never came. That is why the Plaza is so far from the field and does not have great sight lines. If it weren't for that issue, I would be fine keeping it as is.

The Dome is in the right spot geographically, but yes, it does need to be replaced. If you tallied up all the renovations in the last ten to fifteen years, you probably could have afforded to do that -- demo the Dome, rebuild a modern structure and have the Saints play at Tiger Stadium for a year or two in the meantime.

Will never happen in this broke arse city and state. And it shouldn’t.
