It was an average crowd noise wise.

I was there and I agree. I can usually tell when the band starts to take the field for pregame and the crowd clap is all out of rhythm.

No way.

The fact that the fans last night didnt rush the field makes them infinitely better than that pathetic display put on by the fans last years

A LSU crowd should NEVER rush the field, unless we win a National Championship

Rushing the field after beating an Ole Piss team that finished the season 9-4 and ranked 17th in the country? Embarrassing

They weren't #17 and a 3 loss team at the time. They were undefeated and gameday was there. It was fun. Also I'm sure you're a lot of fun at parties.

Yeah but rushing the field was fun as shite

Plus that doesn't change how loud it was in there for the previous 4 hours that night.

It was a pretty good night in Death Valley. Very few left early, and I would say the crowd was into it at the right times, but there just wasn't that electricity in the air like at Ole Miss last year and other games in the past. I guess I'd give last night's experience an A-. Still an atmosphere tons of teams would love to have

You sound like a fun person.

Lighten up.

Ole Miss last year was one of the best/loudest games I've ever been to.

It did get quiet in the third Q. I could see the crowd wasn't in it but they recovered.

I just think its hard to beat 07 Florida. One of the best games ever in Tiger Stadium.

Things like this are always hard to remember.

At best only number four just against Florida
1997
2007
2009

That's without even thinking real hard.

Nice crowd but maybe top 20 at best.

I was there and was not impressed. It gets weaker and weaker every year.

Noise was not sustained like Ole Miss 2014 or Florida 2007. It was rocking at the end of the first half, then Miles took his foot off the gas and took that took the crowd out of the game. It got loud again at the end but still wasn't even close to the loudest it's been.

What Tennessee game was he referring to? The UT/UGA game where the Vols came from behind? I'd imagine that game was louder.

Heard they were tagging the students pretty hard with MiP's going into the student section.

Also read that there were a good many parents and siblings of students that somehow got into the student section and no all students could find seats.

Not sure how accurate but stuff like that could explain some of the lack of sustained noise.
