It is the 2016-and-beyond timeframe.

It is when LSU realizes its potential in the time beyond tonight"s game.

It is when Miles FINALLY makes the rest of the adjustments needed. It is when LSU gets the horses on the Dline in the recruitment class needed to return to elite level.

It is when LSU puts full all-out emphasis on QB development.

It is when LSU modifies the offensive scheme.

It is when the offense matches the QB.

It is when teams cannot load the box for Fournette.

It is when Fournette has a full season of studding out.

It is when the tall and elite and fast LSU receiver corp lives up to expectations, and the opposing defenses struggle to adjust.

It is when we recover from a horrid special teams season and return to strong special team performances.

It is when DBU does the DBU thing.

It is when the LSU D has not only top-level talent, but has a 2-deep, and even a 3-deep defensive roster that is the hallmark of intimidating and strong LSU defenses.

It is when Coach O develops a smothering Dline.

It is when Aranda gets offensive with his defense.

It all starts now, and in the upcoming few weeks.

What the pom pom nation has done, will SHIFT to the bayou.

The SHIFT is here.

Dude your positive energy has no affect on LSU football team! Clemson, Ole Miss, and Ohio state are the only offenses that can score 30+ on Bama. We haven't scored 30+ on Bama since 2007. CLM will continue to run the exact sloppy predictable offense we've seen for years.

Yeah. Bama's defense has proven vulnerable just not to an offense like Les insists on running. I promise Okie would've put up points in 2011 too on Bama.

Ehh Clemson needed heroics from Watson. They still used a fb to score and Bama outscored them by sticking to their guns.

OP doesn't get it. The shift starts in 2017 because 2017 is, technically, NEXT YEAR...

At the end of every season somebody says "next year". We can talk all we want but that doesn't change anything. It's time for results.

I agree Bert. I like to think positively. I've been right and I've been wrong. But your list has reasonable chances for success. Soooo

I disagree. Les will still call that lame arse 1970's boring as hell offense. A younger RB will surpass an older one, and everone will be saying "next year". Rinse Lather Repeat.

You're right. We didn't get the results we wanted this year. So we shouldn't look forward to next year.

If he does, even He knows that it will result in a real shove out of BR next year. All excuses and mulligans have permanently expired. The 2007 natty is ages ago. An SEC-West title, or very near miss without an embarrasing game, is a requirement for him. With the recruiting and Aranda and (hopefully) some better QB play/consistency, many of us think 2016 will be the SHIFT up.
