They don't want to hear facts. They just want to pretend to be tough and follow their traitor leader.

Wasn't talking about NYC, Chief. Was talking about overall. Of course the rate in NYC is higher. When the government actively seeds all of its nursing homes with Covid positive patients, that happens.

Edit: And I think you are wrong. NYC deaths aren't up to .25% of total population yet.

The idiots that run universities want to drag this out.

Elect brain dead Biden and there will be normal life again. The message is beyond clear at this point.

Ivy League will meet Monday I believe to see if they will play football in the spring. If this happens it may cause other conferences to follow suit.

If feel we are not at 50/50 to play the season but 30/70.

the Ivy league plays 10 games and they do not participate in the playoffs so they are not a factor...they can do what they want...they two OOC games would just be forfeits if they choose not to play...

You’re an idiot. The best any country in the world has done has not eradicated it, which is what we would need in order to be able to have football stadiums packed. Other than that, we would need immunity, and we’re doing better than most toward that.

There will be no "normal" athletics, at any level, in this country until a vaccine is available....

If you have to rely on sports for happiness your life is messed up already. I love sports but can be just as happy without them......

The death rate in actuality is even less than the 0.25% you say. Common sense dictates we have had WAY more cases AND RECOVERIES (a stat you NEVER see on the news) than the 2.5 million diagnosed in the US, with the death rate decreasing. The overreaction to covid has been epic.

I have been saying the same thing and the media is completely miss representing things but these politicians will cave to protect their asses.

While still very contagious it is also weaker or less deadly.

I will bookmark this for when there are no vaccines for COVID-19 in January. We have never had a successful vaccine for a coronavirus. You sheeple are dumber than you look which is surprising.

And......what percentage of NYC residents have died in the first 6 months of this year compared to the first 6 months of the last 10 years, say??

Also, all you vaxxers, you do realize that no vaccine is 100% effective, right? Even if we do get a vaccine, we are still going to have instances of college/professional athletes contracting Covid or whatever next seasons virus du jour is.

Athletes have been contracting communicable diseases since before Marathon was a thing. We sit them out, try to see if anyone else is infected and carry on. If your bar is 1 case needs to shut everything down you do realize that we will never have another sporting event, concert, graduation, church service, etc, etc?

The Deep State - ChiCom - Globalist Cabal is pulling out all the stops to torpedo this upcoming election in November.

They want Donald J. Trump out, and they're hoping the blame (cancelling the CF season) will fall on President Trump.

Connect the dots America.

If the season is cancelled, the election should be too.

They don’t get to have it both ways.
