JD does not process fast enough to go through his progressions. Will never improve enough to make a significant difference in his play. MB was good at finding and getting ball to receivers. What did these coaches see leading up to season? What about next year? We need major help in a hurry.

Everybody keeps pointing to Howard next year but Daniels will end up being here again

Then we need to hope that Howard is as good as we hope he is and that Kelly will give him a fair shot at the starting job. If he can't beat out a QB as bad as Daniels, then expect more of what we're seeing this season.

Denveock likely has never seen better than Daniela at Cincinnati. He would have been great ther but he will lose more than win here. Nothing against this young man as a person but his one dimensional game will not cut it here and it’s to bad that we have abandoned a decent offense for this inept qb and offensive plan. The qb can’t process his progressions and frankly neither can Denbrock. This is over there heads.

We complained about MB taking too long to throw and taking too many sacks when he played.

The rant has a bad habit of building every single quarterback on the bench up to be the next coming of Vince Young.

Johnson was a stud
Ness was a stud
Now Howard is a stud

There is a much, much greater likelihood of Howard being the next Anthony Jennings than the next Joe Burrow.

There is know way he beat Brennan throwing the ball. He won because the ability he has making plays with his legs, and the coaching staff believing they could develop him in the passing game.

They should know now that isn't happening.

Garbage, even with no one in face. Inaccurate on the simplest of routes and refuses to throw down field. Very embarrassing to say the least.

What if he could beat him out but he wasn't the right fit?

Does anyone here who watched the spring game honestly think Myles couldn't run this offense better?

Shut the frick up with this. Yeah we had some blown blocks today but once again Jayden had several clean pockets with plenty of time and wouldn't let the ball go. Once again he was terrible against the blitz. Once again he won't give his guys a chance in 1 on 1

Or maybe he quit when he was told there was no chance he would start over a guy that he was better than.

It's been pointed out many times that the offensive scheme that Denbrock is currently running isn't suited for someone like Daniels. So, either BK needs to change the system to adapt to Daniels or he needs to change the personnel.

It’s mind-boggling. BK has no ability to evaluate QB talent.

Very true on the 1 on 1 thing, he just isn’t pulling the trigger in those situations. That said, Ya’ll had a chance to make it a one possession game 20-14 going into half. #10 Jenkins dropped what would have been a HUGE game changer late in the second quarter (39 second mark in 2nd). The receivers and qb are out of sync together. He did look better passing the ball than previous games so maybe he is improving but his receivers are doing him no favors either. I do think Daniels has insane potential if he keeps improving. Hard for Kelly not to stick with him just based on what he can do with his feet. A straight pocket guy won’t be successful right now with your young o-line.

Edit: in stadium it looked like just a drop, watching tv replay it may have been tipped but still a ball that could have been caught. Different game if that is completed and LSU scores right there. 20-14 vs 23-7 at the halfway mark.

So basically none of our QB's are good? Ever?

The coaches here have a habit of recruiting guys that are bad QB's. Other teams seem to find good QB's, even some that play as freshmen.
