The rushing stats were a big disappointment both gained and allowed

LSU - 36 for 94 - 2.6 yds/attempt
UK - 32 for 155 - 4.8 yds/attempt

LSU 37 yards lost (22 from 3 sacks)
UK 11 yards lost (6 from a sack)

LSU 3 tackles for loss (only 1 sack)
UK 8 tackles for loss (including 3 sacks)

UK has a decent O-Line, but Bama, Texas, Tennessee - and maybe others - will be as good or better.

Disappointing to say the least.

The stats that UK’s OLine was taller and heavier than 20+ NFL teams was interesting.

I don’t blame the defensive line. You can’t forget they got 77 yards off one run because the damn linebackers not filling the gaps. We blitz and guessed wrong. Let's just say that run went for about 10 yards they'd have 32 carries for 88 yards which would be 2.7 yards per carry. But of course it happened so it doesn't matter

You take out one play of 77 yards where we missed gap containment and this whole post means almost nothing

KY rushed for 155 but one run was 77 yards, take that out and they had 78 other than that

LSU's C-RG-RT got abused all night. Our TE's seem to be one dimensional, and don't block well. Kentucky virtually copied everything they saw from the OM tape, on both sides of the ball.

LSU lost last night because of its offensive scheme. Not running the ball enough was a big reason why. Our RBs should have been able to wear that defense down by the end of the game and run out the clock.

I get it - one big play but...

Take out one punt return and special teams played a great game.

Take out one 3rd and 9 with a ridiculous defensive formation and one 2-pt play that left the middle of the field wide open and the defense played a great game.

Take out two plays that Leavitt turned the ball over and the offense played a great game.

Every play matters. That is the weakness of this team - both players and coaches - consistency.
