Too lazy to find who said this. I've gone to a few games at BDS. And people left at 1/2 time when Bama was destroying a bad team.

I don't have the time, inclination, or focus to read all 8 pages but I assume someone has already stated the real issue.

Miles has obviously lost control of all crowd discipline!

My ticket along with 4 others cost me $100 bucks. I'm not saying if you paid $1,000 you'd be robbed blind but.........

Just bought 2 tickets each to Florida (412 - prob returned UF allotment), Furman (who cares, not going) and Arky (230) on lsusports.net today for $367 total. If you're willing to bundle, you can go to any game this year (save Ags) and not pay a ton. I also bought 2 more seats and put em on Stubhub and well on my way to double my money on them. Thanks LSU!

The main difference I see today vs when I was in school is the attitude towards winning. We were genuinely excited in the mid-90s to win. Today, winning a game in September is seen as our right.

And HD TVs and all SEC games on TV doesn't help. Will only get worse with SEC Network.

Everyone bitching about people not sitting through a rainy, cold game from their computers on their couch all need to shut the frick up. I showed up ten minutes before kickoff, got a free ticket, not to mention a couple of other people trying to give away tickets I turned down afterwards.

If you want to go so fricking bad, get off your arse and go.

And yes, I sat thru the entire 60:00.

Last night's 2nd half attendance was an embarrassment. It wasn't that long ago when LSU fans were ridiculing Miami and USCw for their fickle fanbases. Yet, we're much better fans because everyone here claims to be a wild, hard partying, champion gumbo cooking Cajun (despite lineage or geography) that gets to their tailgate spot the weekend after the Tarpon Rodeo. This may or may not be true of many of you, but pregame doesn't define a great fan or fanbase.

I don't give a shite about your socioeconomic status, drive home, babysitter, the weather, or how early you get started. If you're justifying early departures from the SEC home opener against an undefeated AU, you're the problem.

Also, you want to improve the parking situation? Tell the shitbirds that go to campus solely to tailgate and drive up parking demand to stay the frick home.

Good point. From the Admin's perspective, % fans staying for the whole game is not a metric of concern, # of season tickets sold is.

IMO, after last night, the Admin should begin to address why so many fans leave early.

In doubt they care....the seats were paid for

IMO as someone who can't afford season tickets there is no Problem. If you afford tickets than you go as long as you want, they paid for it and they can go for a half if they want. It's unfortianate but that's just the way it is. Get over it because that is a consequince of dominant d1 football. We will only play about 3-4 games that actually keep people for the whole game.

I don't believe the problem is economic. You see something very similar in baseball where season ticket holders stay away from games in droves rather than attend a game they view as unworthy of their time and effort. Baseball tickets are not that expensive. LSU sells a lot of tickets but don't put the butts in the seats game in and game out.

The hard and simple truth is that the current LSU fan base isn't what it once was and the "we're special fans" mantra no longer rings true.

I lived in South Bend for four years and those people are both delusional and insufferable but LSU fans are no where near as loyal to their sports programs as ND fans.

thank god we're building that new addition atop the south endzone. our fanbase isn't quite embarrassed enough we need even more empty seats for during a primetime SEC game.

fricking ridiculous.

I think until now the Admin could excuse themselves with this thinking. But I would ask, 'is this really what you want the stadium experience to become? As long as the seats are paid for we couldn't care less if folks show up, cheer, or leave early?' At some point, it should matter to them. IMO, we there.

The root cause is there are far too many ways to watch the games without having to sit in shitty weather.
