Here's where I have issue, regardless of the outcome the process was horrible. Like any negotiation or business decision, everyone has their price points. If the price point was too high and the decision was "pretty much made" then why let this shite show continue? Money was an issue Saturday but not on Monday? Why leak this to the media? (Isn't that still whats assumed to have happened?)

Work this out behind closed doors not in the town square with everyone looking in and judging. Pathetic management.

You can debate the strategy till the cows come home but the execution was pathetic.

The NegaTigers were not happy with Jimbo when he was our OC, now they want him as HC. NegaTigers are never happy unless you win the NC every year, and then they will find something they don't like.

With two all world receivers, an NFL QB, and one of the best RB in LSU history. The philosophy didn't change, they had an extremely rare combo of talent that made their convoluted offense work.

They have the RB for next year... if they possess the QB and WRs to make it work is yet to be seen. If they make the jump next year, it could happen.

Pretty fricked up though that it takes that combo to get good production out of the total offense.

You just flat out sound like half of the people who show up for the party, tailgate, and give their ticket away. Little to no understanding of the game of football, or just enough to sound like it. And, that's OK, because it takes all types to support the kind of programs that win NC's.

Jimbo is hands-on with the most important position on the field. For you to even ask why would people be excited about that puts you in a category of posters I rarely even bother to give a response, but it needs to be said.

Jimbo developed 3 QBs that won NC's with 3 different head coaches. Think about that. Really let that sink in. And while you're thinking about it, go ahead and put that Crimson A on his hat in a couple of years and think about him kicking your team's arse for the next 10 after that.

Before the season started the SECN had a round table with head coaches and were asked, "Outside of the QB position, what is the most important position on the field?" Without hesitation, Saban responded, "QB!" Yes, Saban is a defensive guru, but don't forget, he won a high school state championship playing QB. The man knows what it takes to win, and he knows how to find someone who can coach that position.

First off, it took 3 years in the system for Miles to trust NFL talent enough to attempt to coordinate a passing game. If you recall, the season before that, we had one first down to beat Bama. We ran the ball 3 times into the LOS in a game where Mett had completed 7 third downs in a row by passing.

So, don't come here spouting about his philosophy not being a problem. The man leaves himself no margin for error. And if his philosophy, in your own words, lacks preparing and keeping good QB's, I'm not sure why you would defend a man who has not developed the most important position on the field in 11 years of trying.

Not arguing whether this all should have happened, etc., or that Miles teams have looked like well oiled offensive machines. They have not. Just that I see crap like this a lot.
Guy throws for 7 out of 8 third downs and he's a stubborn, run only coach.

They were all passing situations, because he ran on first and second down. We HAD to throw.

And when it counted the most, after all that success, he still couldn't pull the trigger.

He had All-Pro NFL receivers and RB. As a matter of fact, half of those throws for first down were to his RB.

It's not just the 3 losses, or the opponents in those 3 losses, go back and rewatch our offense when down by 2 or more scores with 10 or less minutes in the game. On each occasion, we line up at the LOS, stare at the sidelines like meerkats with the game clock running, and let the play clock run down to 0, calling a valuable TO on a first or second down.

Using the word coordination in conjunction with a Les Miles offense should be punishable by death.
