The OT was always the proper place for them anyway.

What does it say about you that you trashed coach O daily for months before the 2019 season?

Which is unlikely because I truly believe the last seasons O cracked the code on how to be a great head football coach, all his prior stops and the 2017 season were lessons on the way but, last year, he finally GOT IT and will therefore strive to continue and build an awesome legacy. while it was important, firing dinardo was maybe the most important. that's when the program started on a run that it is still on.

my apologies, wasn’t necessarily directed at you specifically

just a reminder that after year 3, Les was a National Champ with the highest scoring offense in school history too.

Without question Miles was as incompetent as he was stubborn. No coach has ever done less with more here and his evaluation of QBs and offensive acumen is bottom 1% of his generation.

Les did great things here, but it was time. His refusal to hire a new OC in 2016 was a death nail.

If he copies the Bobby Bowden model and just lets his coordinators do their thing no telling what he could’ve accomplished. Sadly he had an immeasurable ego and couldn’t do that.

I blame Les for being a stubborn fool the last few years and refusing to give up the toss dive but I blame Alleva more for keeping him around when it was obvious he was in early dementia.

I wish I can give you a gazillion upvotes for this. The guy was a complete moron who lucked in to one of the greatest situations a coach could be in. He was Larry Coker except he may have been worse. Lol

Wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. But he blew it and it was time!
