We have no running game because we have no real passing game. You can stack the box all game knowing Daniels will tuck it and run when his first read isn’t open.

When they shut down the RPO on 4th & 2 on the third drive of the first quarter, I was about to throw shite at the TV. Everybody in the fricking stadium down to the cheerleaders and millions of people watching on tv knew Daniels was gonna keep the ball.

Why not play both? JD would be an excellent RB and run Wildcat. Nuss at QB1 the bulk of the time.

Realistically, it may provide the best way to showcase JD as draft-able in one of the later rounds vs being a un-drafted free agent.

No you have no running game because the QB sucks at passing and no one is going to drop defenders back to play it. Daniels is the limiting factor and his ability to run frankly isn't so great that he needs to keep the ball in his hands the entire game.

He seems to only know one type of playing style- HERO BALL. He doesn't know how to get other guys involved and hes not going to.

Did Logan Diggs even see the field last night?

Wouldn't have mattered with Daniels stealing all the action.

I think commitments are made, monetary agreements are reached, and those decisions are determined before the season. Nuss has already spoken on the next two years. Unfortunately for us, Jayden peaked last year.

Daniels will have 400 yrds passing & 100 yrds rushing against Grambling next week & all these local untalented radio sports hacks will once again be on their knees for the guy.

He had 347 yards passing and 64 yards rushing vs Florida State. He'll have to get that in the first half vs Grambling for anyone to really take notice. Nuss probably gets some p[laying time too.

Nope.

If your Oline can’t run block and your running backs are sub par, it doesn’t matter how much you throw the ball downfield.

You dipshits act like most plays should be passed way down the field. No team does that. Even with great receivers and a great QB, those passes are low completion percentage passes.

Just because you can do it in a video game doesn’t mean it works in real life.

While I think the RBs on our roster are pretty mediocre outside what we might have with freshman, you back the defense off if you're not handcuffed like the offense is under Daniels. He gives you the leg threat but he's barely even an intermediate threat throwing the football. That's not going to back a defense off.
