OP..... this place is in the midst of MBB season, which I'm sure you know, the team doesn't migrate well. But don't worry, in few months another team will swoop in and this place will be more joyful. Until then, just enjoy some eggnog while people here cry because WW "The Cheater" or was The General.... my bad, got himself fired. Enjoy this season of WTF coaching.

This is the Rant, and rants aren’t normally positive, but most or directed at other schools. But we have a miserable basketball team whose head coach provides zero excitement and hope for the future, so there’s my rant.

Defintion - "rant: speak or shout at length in a wild, impassioned way".
And the etymology of "rant" is the Dutch word "ranten", meaning to "talk nonsense".
So tRant is people speaking nonsense at length in a wild, impassioned way.
Kudos to the originator of such an apposite sobriquet.
