I'm the furthest thing from believing in conspiracies, but that call in the UNC game last night wasn't a bad call..it wasn't an ah well, they really blew it call...it wasn't even a HOLY shite they blew that call and hosed that team.
It was a blatant fixed call
The official was squatted down watching the line of scrimmage where the ball was. That was his only job. And he still threw a flag for offsides when it was BLATANTLY clear no one was even close to being offsides.
OP has a point.

It was a fixed call for what? To protect fuvking Clemson? If anything they'd want to screw Clemson to get Ohio state back in the mix. It was a terrible call but y'all really need to pump the brakes

What facilities? The athletic facilities that are paid for entirely by private donations?
They're still state bonds, and somebody is on the hook for them if the cash stops flowing.

Judging the body language of Fournette vs Bama, Altair brings up a few valid points. With Kwon gone, along with Magee, Collins and Hilliard this team had minimal leadership. Ride # 7 or bust. Maybe its the revenue sharing part that we should be most concerned about. Something about that troubles me.

Why would ACC refs want to get Ohio State back in the mix?
Unless the conspiracy goes deeper than we think....

Exactly. If you don't like it, don't watch it or support it.

the CFP needs to be expanded to 8 teams
Yeah, that will eliminate the money and corruption. More playoff games!

You can laugh all you want. That's fine. But my point is still valid- this is a corrupt sport, where the cheaters come first and the losers are stuck with coaches that demand millions of dollars a year in order to sate their appetite for more wealth. More playoff games means more people that got screwed over by the referees will have at least a little bit more of a chance to make it through. By itself it won't change much, but that along with the other changes we're advocating will help clean this sport up.

The problem is complex. There are many reasons this situation may not resolve itself...... The zombie apocalypse, low Black Friday sales, political unrest, Bo Jackson runs a business, pop has infiltrated all music, race relations, AOL is obsolete, barrel of oil is near an all time low and the Green Bay Packers play in an outside stadium. There are too many to overcome. You should just start fishing.

Right, because in an 8-team playoff scenario, it would be impossible for the refs to screw someone out of a playoff spot.

Who is "we"?
Maybe the Illuminati truly are at work in college football.

It was an intentional call.
I don't know what motive there is behind it, but you can't tell me that the official, who is staring down the line, can throw that flag and actually believe anyone was off sides. That wasn't even a subjective call like holding or pass interference.
We very rarely see offsides called on kickoffs, and now all of a sudden there's a flag when it was 100% clear to everyone that no one was even remotely close to being offsides? On that onside kick?
There's bad calls and then there's what happened last night. It was a blatant screw job.
