re: QB depth next season

Posted by Altair on 12/13/15 at 1:44 am to
It doesn't matter who the QB is. Our QBs always look confused, frustrated, and panicked. We could have TEN QBs and it wouldn't make a difference. The coaching is not there and they can't step up when it matters. LM will continue to rely on running into brick walls to win games and passing only in desperation.

Saban owns Miles' balls, Miles will lose to Saban every year until he's gone.
Exactly. Alleva is the real culprit behind this debacle.

What makes you think there will be changes

Time and again Les Miles has trotted out his ancient, confusing, and incompetent offense on to the field and brought us down to the wire against teams we should have put away in the first half. This is a stubborn man, interested in how long he can continue to stay at LSU. By throwing his offense at a brick wall he manages to pull out just enough games every year to win.

The Texas Tech game will actually fool everyone into thinking that changes have been made, when in reality our team just happens to match up well against theirs. Miles will not go in with a Plan B (just like against Bama, or any other time his stategy was not working). The bowl game will pass, Miles will get another win, and the fans will proclaim that "NEXT SEASON WILL BE BETTER".

This bowl game is the worst case scenario. It will not force our incompetent staff to make changes or adaptations. They will beat up on an awful 7-5 TT team and think it means they are doing it right.

Ask yourself this: how do you feel the game against bama will go next year? Do you honestly expect Miles to go in with several different plans of attack, or to just run up the gut and throw deep until the 3 and outs completely wear out our defense. For that matter, ask yourself how the OM/Arkansas games are going to be different.

LES IS NOT MAKING ANY CHANGES. HE WILL KEEP DOING WHAT HE IS DOING, AND AS LONG AS FANS SHOW UP WITH "WE LOVE LES" SIGNS AND CHEERING THEIR SUPPORT, HE WILL KEEP GETTING IS 8 TO 9 WIN SEASONS.
I've been saying it for years... this ain't a place to coach football. It's a place for people to get rich.

This is a message that needs to be brought to the attention of the ADMINISTRATION.

ATTENTION: Les is losing many more players every year, consistently, to the NFL, than any other team.

As a fanbase the demand should be raised. Why is it every year we lose the players that we need to lead this team? Why is Les not being held accountable for his horrible attrition rate?

re: Kyle Allen should we?

It doesn't matter who is QB. Tom Brady could not manage this hopeless offense.
This is a RIDICULOUS notion.

So what, we have to wait around developing a QB that can keep us in contention for 1 out of his 4 years playing? And what if something happens in year 3? Are we out for 4 more years?

Why am I asking these questions? we have seen this pattern repeated time and again. The offense that Les has allowed to take over is so complicated, confusing, and ridiculous that no QB can be held accountable for not performing well in it. Les has not put any work into his offensive scheme- he just keeps adding things in and neglecting the fundamentals.

If you don't believe me, then why are we all jumping up and down everytime Harris completes a pass. This is how it has been for many years now and will continue until Miles is gone.
STOP TALKING ABOUT MCNEESE.

FOURNETTE WOULD NOT HAVE WON EVEN IF HE HAD 300+ ON MCNEESE.

REPEAT: FOURNETTE WOULD NOT HAVE WON HAD WE PLAYED MCNEESE.

You are entertaining a fantasy. If the game was played again tomorrow, do you really think the outcome would be any different? Miles is not going to change, just keep ramming his players into brick walls until something happens.
As is typical, Les just takes his best player and runs him into the ground in order to get the 8 or 9 wins he needs to keep the scam going. Fournette deserved much better than he got. The sitaution will not change next year: Les will keep running Fournette into the teeth of the SEC defenses with no attempt to disguise the running plays. It won't be pretty.
BDP is another one of Les' drinking buddies who thinks that yelling about guy wires is doing his job. Get him out of here along with the rest of the thugs.
OUR Problem is the people like YOU who have accepted the crooked administration that is running a once great program into the ground. The fact that it's tigers vs red raiders should tell you something. This program is going nowhere fast because the people in charge are either crooked frauds stealing money from the community or incompetent idiots collecting paychecks. It's time to clean house and put people who actually care in charge. If they screw it up, fire them until the problem is fixed. WE DEMAND THAT THE ADMINISTRATION BE FIRED. THat is what we need to be saying if you seriously want an NC next season.

Les and his staff are enjoying their 3 weeks off, laughing it up, drinking beers, and tallying up their bank accounts to see who stole the most from the LSU community. Their shitty bowl is just an excuse for them to go dick around in Houston for a bit (probably gambling with the money they bilked from LSU)

They are predicting. WE are predicting .500, maybe 7-5, heck maybe even 8-4. This is NOT where LSU should be at. Quit deluding yourself. The only way a team can have the facilities and talent we do and not be in CFP contention is because the idiots and crooks at the top who are in it to collect paychecks.
quote:

Thanks to that idiot F.King Alexander, Les will not be on a short leash or feel like his job is in jeopardy. He has all the leverage and it will be back to business as usual. I'd love to find something positive in all this - but I've got nothing. A couple of weeks ago, when we thought there would be a coaching change there was a feeling of excitement and anticipation for the new direction we would be taking. Now - we have more of the same to look forward to, and as far as I'm concerned, I'll expect the worst out of these Les Miles coached teams.

I couldn't have said it better myself. LES holds the leash on Alleva, F King, and all the other dimwits in the administration. Along with his crooked buddy Jindal, they are out to ruin LSU in both academics and athletics. I've never seen someone make so much money off of running a program into the dirt.
This is just fantasy being peddled by those in on the CFP scam. LSU barely has a chance of being .500 next season. I think someone pointed out Auburn's position last year was the same as ours now. But go ahead, piss away more of your money into the capitalistic monstrosity that College football has become. LES is in kill the clock mode now. He and his staff/drinking buddies are laughing their asses off at this right now.
Stop complaining. This will be the last bowl game for a while, enjoy it.

re: Miles "anticipates no staff changes"

And why would he change his staff? He has stuffed the court full of his drinking buddies who are content to ride on the backs of the talent that comes to play here. These guys are in on the scam too- why do you think BDP was yelling about the guy wires? What we have is a cabal of thugs, pulling millions of dollars out of this community every year and locking it up in their savings accounts. When the buyout comes next year they will all kick back, pop a few beers open and laugh as they tally how much they have stolen from LSU during their time here.
In reality it is all Saban's fault. The lapdogs around here bow down to this man as if he is some kind of god but he is just another football coach (this is part of why we lose every year- STOP PUTTING HIM ON A PEDESTAL). When Saban left Miles realized his opportunity to ride on the coattails of his success. How could he possibly resist the rich amount of talent available in Louisiana along with the potential to grab another NC relatively easily. Over time he has built up his staff to include his drinking buddies who are getting in on the scam as well. And then we have the clueless Alleva administration who won't/can't do anything about this group of crooks, along with another CROOK (bobby jindal) keeping the Les ponzi scheme going.
