The posters on here saying we need to pull for bama are wrong.

It doesn't matter. We need to win out. We control that part. If not we don't deserve to be there. The teams we need to pull for are Washington, Missouri, Texas, Nebraska, and Indiana. We don't control that part. We get over a one loss TCU and a 2 loss Oregon if we beat GA in the SEC championship game.

We beat the Hogs and the Tide beat the Black Bears we clinch the West. So yeah we kinda do need to pull for them.

Even though an Alabama win vs Ole Miss helps LSU I will still be pulling Ole Miss.

I think you’re wrong. Need to win the west asap. We win it tomorrow with a Bama and lsu win. Obviously we would all like to win out, but making the sec championship game is a major win for the program regardless of winning one more game or three.

Ole Miss only has 1 conference loss. They will likely not lose to Arkansas or Mississippi State. If they win out, LSU needs to win out to win the tiebreakers for the SEC West.

The sooner we win the division the sooner our fans can start buying tickets and try to negate the massive crowd advantage Georgia will have in the Benz. It also takes pressure off the trip to Kyle Field and could help our guys not play tight there. I want Bama to beat the Rebs tomorrow and I don’t feel the least bit sorry about it.

It all depends on which goal you put first.
If the main goal is to get to Atlanta, then pull for Bama in case we lose again.
If the main goal is to get into the playoffs, then pull for Ole Miss because we aren't making the playoffs with 3 losses anyway.
So screw Bama

frick it, I'm actually pulling for Ole Miss, relishing seeing them openly celebrate their second "West Division Championship" with flags, stadium insignia, shirts, etc., while we take another trip to Atlanta.

No they aren’t. It’s common sense. Of course, you want to win both, but if LSU was to get beaten in one of the 2 remaining SEC road games. we would still have earned the right to be the West representative in the SEC championship. There is always a chance they win that game and even if they don’t. would be a huge accomplishment for Kelly and the team considering the projections and loss to FSU in game 1. Would you rather be watching Alabama play again in the SEC championship again?

If we want to clinch tomorrow, we need Bama to win. Do what you want, it doesn’t matter.
