Detroit Mercy has one regular season game left and their conference tourney but they sit 13-17 so the postseason ends with their conference tourney; probably 1 and done there.

Pistol owns a 98 point lead after Davis scored 27 tonight.

And yes, Pistol did it in 3 years without a 3 point line whereas Davis is a 5th year player.

ETA: He scored 34 today and their conference tourney is next. They play Purdue FW and they have beaten them both times this year. He may get 2 conference tourney games to get his 64 needed.

Davis is going to take every shot in those two games.

I thought he would tonight but he only had 19 attempts. He’s a high volume FT guy, too.

Three years with no 3 point line and no shot clock...

Where is Dennis Rodman when you need him to get under his skin and get ejected or Garrett Temple to shut him down.

Could be 3 or 4 games if they win a game in conference tournament.

There’s a good chance he has 3 games left with the way the Horizon League tournament works.

Final regular season
First round (7 vs 10)
2nd round

Here's what I would hate to see: Do they still have those CBI or CIT postseason tournaments? The tournaments are usually very low key and involve teams that don't make the NCAA or NIT. I think Power 5 schools typically turn down invites to these garbage tournaments. I could see one of those tournaments inviting them. I don't know if they have rules about teams needing winning records. Hope I'm wrong.

Horizon league tournament is always a bucket of fun. The auto bid will most likely go to Youngstown, Cleveland State, or Northern Kentucky, but anyone in the league outside of Green Bay or IUPUI can go in a run.

Either way, no one is gonna confuse this guy in the history books with the Pistol

Hopefully Pistol keeps it but the points per game stat is the more important (more impressive) one to me.

He is averaging 27.9 per game. He has only scored 30 or more 12 times.

Scored 42 on Sat 1/21 @ IUPUI who has an overall record of 5-25
Scored 42 on Thu 2/9 @ Milwaukee who has an overall record of 19-10
Scored 41 on Sat 1/14 vs Robert Morris who has an overall record of 15-16
Scored 41 on Sat 2/11@ Green Bay who has an overall record of 3-27
Scored 36 on Sat 12/10 @ Charlotte who has an overall record of 17-11
Scored 35 on Thu 2/2 vs Cleveland State who has an overall record of 19-11
Scored 32 on Sat 2/4 vs Purdue Fort Wayne who has an overall record of 16-14
Scored 32 on Thu 1/12 vs Youngstown State who has an overall record of 22-8
Scored 31 on Sat 12/31 vs Milwaukee who has an overall record of 19-10
Scored 31 on Sun 2/19 vs IUPUI who has an overall record of 5-25
Scored 30 on Fri 2/17 @ Oakland who has an overall record of 13-17
Scored 30 on Sun 12/18 @ Eastern Michigan who has an overall record of 7-21

They have one remaining regular season game vs Wright state. He scored 27 vs Wright State before. That was at Wright State, this one is at Detroit Mercy. This game will determine seeding as they are tied in conference @ 9-10. There is a strong possibility that these two play each other again in round 1 of their tournament with the winner getting the homecourt advantage.

It doesn’t matter cause Pete would have schooled this punk on the court.

that one kind of sunk in on me, can you imagine having a guy on the team that you can count on for 44+ every single night?
