if you didn't notice BH's improvement throughout the season you weren't looking.

I was looking when BH played against Arkansas and Ole Miss, and yeah, his play was pretty mediocre.

Against Ole Miss he rallied to make his statline look respectable, but the damage was already done.

Against Arkansas? I was thinking how the f*ck is this guy a starter in the SEC?

I'm sure the oil service company you work for is very proud of you.

So the key to the season is how well your QB plays?

Hold on, let me write that down. Genius

IT's not only BH, it's up to the Coaches to do what BH does best and play to his strengths and put him and the Offense in the best position to be successful. There's a reason he was so heavily recruited and the 2nd ranked duel threat QB The kid is talented

Bama somehow is once again returning almost it's whole team so LSU will once again be fighting for second place in the west.

And this has to do with what???? Harris DID pad his stats against Ole Miss. They raped us....

And AGAIN Harris AND the whole team looked lost and very unmotivated against Arkie... Can you deny these facts???? NO............. And AGAIN I have not bashed LSU at all with this post........

That is largely why I'm not as excited about next year as most are. Harris just isn't very good and that could hold this team back.

the talent

"talent" compositional elements:

1) Arm Strength - check
2) Running Ability - check
3) Knowledge of playbook - assume a check
4) Footwork - needs lots and lots of drills/work/improvement
5) Touch on short/intermediate passes - needs lots and lots of drills/work/improvement
6) Field Vision - needs lots and lots of drills/work/improvement
7) Pocket Feel/awareness/presence - needs work
8) Game management - seems fairly ok.

Yes, because the outcome of the 2011 season lied on the shoulders of Jordan Jefferson?

The idea that the entire season rests on BH shoulders is ridiculous. Yes, he is a huge part of it. But the only part is ignorant.

All 3 phases of the game need to improve if we're talking about a title run

The Aranda hire helps and it's tough to imagine we won't have improved special teams

But people seriously need to stop putting everything on Harris

He doesn't know what he's doing yet because he's handcuffed by his coaches. Air it out doesn't help us when wrs only run 40 yard vertical routes.

This is the SEC. Don't forget the outcome is often controlled by the people running the HQ in Gumpville.

We don't need close games which can be decided by a few calls. We need to decide the outcome and leave no ability for the typical BS we see in this conference.

DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

As long as the offense and special teams can perform efficiently this defense will keep us in every game. Turnovers and long returns must be kept to a minimum

Harris proved he is a game manager by not screwing up too often. He will improve his play making, this team will have a great shot at being special. The guys need to eliminate the mental miscues that kill drives such as false starts, dropped balls and missed blocks.

Most importantly the star player is a leader. I suspect he has been very influential in convincing underclassmen to come back. He will affect intensity in a positive way. LF7 is the key because he is the team leader, there will also be leadership coming from the qb and the upperclassmen.

It's hard for me to keep my expectations in check, I'm hoping for a NC this season.
