All we need is consistent and competent play from the QB position.

We have a guy with the talent, the work ethic, and the mental fortitude.

Let's hope the coaches actually coach him up in the right way.

I'm sick and tired of hearing that all we need is a QB...we have that guy on the roster.
He has the ability to play in the NFL.

We need the coaches to guide this young man through the developmental process.

Let him air it out in the meaningless games, let him make mistakes early and often to teach him.

how many times against lesser opponents did we see a 75-25 rush to pass ratio against teams like Eastern Michigan?

We have the guy to make the offense click and have a special season.

This is on the coaches to make it work.

It took a while, but you got to the point.

You can't put it all on Harris. He is the biggest piece, and needs to make the most improvement. But the OL and defensive backfield need to improve as well. Neither of those groups played at a championship level in 2015.

You are right but ultimately, his play will dictate how the season goes.

I think it'll happen...even with mediocre offensivne coaching

What you said could have applied to this year...

I hope he improves on his touch short passes..

Let's hope the 3rd year is the charm.

2nd year. It will be his second full season.

Practice is where you prepare. But games are where you learn the biggest lessons.

This is the missing piece. He's got to make the throw when the play is called. Screens to RB and short flat routes to Quinn were open most of the year. He kept throwing deep.

This is true for 11 of the 12 games. The Bama outcome will be determined by what the coaching philosophy is. If LSU uses the same game plan as this past yr, it will not matter who the ab is, LSU will lose.

I'm sick and tired of this fan base ripping and shredding out QB apart with criticism after his first season of a starter. Give the kids some time. Harris will be good next year

Dude, after planning to air it out all week, he was 4/14 and it wasn't going to work that day.
Practice is for practice, and games are for winning.

Actually no. The defensively line did not create consistent QB pressure and hold up against good run teams. Special teams were atrocious most of the season. The WRs had a bad case of dropsies too often. The OL did not pass protect well at critical times.

Improvement in all of these phases could have re-shaped last season along with improved QB play.

Buga, I somewhat agree with you, As we all know for an offense to click the QB has to make plays when plays are needed. When he is effective everything is going, Fournette and gang are effective. The key to me starts up front with the O-line, they have to improve as much as Harris. The play of our O-line in the gump is what cost us the most, IMO, when their getting knocked into the backfield on a consistent basis success is hard to attain. Get the offense going, make sure the O-line is dominant, and I guarantee Harris will be a much better QB, and we're off to the races next year.

So you open by saying it is all on Harris and close saying it is all on the coaches.

So, which is it?
