Ole Miss is always fired up for night games in Tiger Stadium, and has a dangerous offense, but they don't look anywhere as scary as a full team than many expected at the onset of the season. As a result, our Oline being injury-riddled up to and thru this upcoming weekend is happening about as good a time as possible.

Ole Miss's putrid D + Burrow + Tiger Stadium +Our D should be sufficient to allow us to get past the Light Blue helmet-wearing, Black Bear Rebel Tony Landsharkers. Hoping so, anyway.

If so, and if we get back most of our injured Oline for the Florida game, the silver lining is more experience across the OLine.

That supports the Florida-UGA-Miss State gauntlet with an Oline which will give Burrow and CSE more protection and options.

I think we'll find a way to beat Ole Miss and Florida, but know the trip to Florida will be a stout test.

If so, we'll be 6-0 to host the 2-game October games vs UGA and Miss State, and with a hopefully healthy Oline, we'll have a solid chance of getting at least 1 win, bringing us to the pre-Bama bye week either 7-1 or possibly 8-0.

Yes, I know I said hopefully more than once.

Either way,as rough as the OLine situation has been, if we do what we should be able to do this weekend, things could set up well for the middle and end of our schedule.

Ole miss D sucks. if we can have Magee, Charles, and brumfield back by UF then it will be good. UF scares me hope we are healthy by then.

Brumfield with a sprained knee you hope he is back by Bama. He will miss the next three for sure. You looking 4-6 weeks if no set backs.

What worries me more about Ole Miss and UF is coaching and not our Oline. There were clearly different game plans for Miami/Auburn than SLU/LaTech. Does O not take Ole Miss and UF serious enough and allow them to stay in the game so they can hide some of the plays from UGA? I have yet to see this team or coach play a full 4 qtrs of pedal to the metal, killer instinct football.

The key is Charles, at least right now.

Deculus didn't all of a sudden regress from the AU game to the LTU game. He received alot of help in the AU game. Especially from TEs, some RBs.

Because Traore needed help more in the LTU game, Deculus was left on his own for the most part. So if we can get Charles back, then Deculus (and at times, Traore) can get some assistance.

In this situation with Charles back (but not Magee), we can play Deculus at OG and Traore at OT, giving Traore that same help. So yes, the most significant return is Charles (as one would expect).

It is worth noting, that against AU and when he got it LTU, the help Deculus received was usually to the inside, leaving him to handle anything outside. So they trust him vs. speed rush more. I thought he did an ok job against Ferguson. While in the LTU game most of Traore's help was to the outside. So tip of the cap to Ensminger & Cregg for adjusting help to fit each particular OTs problem area.

Ole miss sucks and Florida is reeling. They’ll be tough games no matter what. But if we just get a few drives and are able to run it at the end we can win.

By Georgia, if knock on wood we stay healthy, we should have the pieces back in the trenches that are gonna be back this year. It could set up for Georgia.

Tigers going to win, but it'll be a battle royal. As for Florida and the rest of the schedule, if we can get everybody healthy on our O/L we've got a good chance of pulling off some quality wins (Bama being the exception).

There is some positives to this. Playing the second stringers et al on O/L gives them valuable playing time. Heck it appears even Traore might be improving.

Hope springs eternal.

I think Brumfield is out till Bama at least but it’s my gut feel that everyone else could play this weekend if necessary. They may be cautious and dress but not start.

As long as we have so many guys in and out on the Oline, I doubt we will see Moreau very involved in the passing game. The TE's are staying in to block. We really need some consistency with the oline. And it is hard to get that when the coaching staff is patching together a different line every week.

If O doesn't take Florida seriously then you can chalk it up as a loss. There is no way he doesn't take playing Florida in the Swamp seriously. Florida isn't that bad, their only loss is to a good Kentucky team.

So if Charles is back, why not put Traore at RT and throw an 80# on Deculus and call him a TE? Is that crazy?

Don't have to re-number or anything if not eligible (on line, covered).

Even if eligible, just have to report to Ref or Ump

Maybe as a whole, but they're defensive line has been causing more havoc in the backfield than LSU's so far this season.

(Yes, I know LSU's schedule has been more difficult so far.)
