Peveto will get an automatic $50,000 raise entering each his second year, in January 2015, and his third year, in January 2016. The deal expires March 17, 2017, at which point he’ll be making a base salary of $450,000.

He won't be fired. Not Les' style. Plus, who we realistically getting at this point?

You clearly don't pay attention to LSU football. Malveto stunk it up in 08 and got fired. Crowton stunk it up and got fired. Stud stunk it up in '12 and got fired. Peveto is doing equally bad and will be processed at the end of the year.

I'm fairly certain I saw least year BDP telling White to attack punts and not let them roll which is why White does the bizarre shite he does on punt returns sometimes.

The fact that BDP is still using White on punt returns should be reason enough to fire him

LSU special teams coordinator and defensive assistant Bradley Dale Peveto is under a three-year contract and will make a base salary of $350,000 in 2014, according to contract details released to The Advocate through a public records request.

$350k a year? Ron Roberts at SLU makes half that at best. I can guarantee he can coach some special teams.

Gamble seems to be a big upgrade. Just needs to keep between the hashes and hell be good going forward.

Field goals haven't been a huge issue either.

Really need to figure out punts.

I agree, but they are still squib kicking some.

Les should just forgo the conventional wisdom and never punt and onside kick every kickoff like that high school coach does

section 302 was yelling for his firing last night! I honestly don't understand how he isn't reassigned at this point...Special times coverage has not been an issue for us as long as I can remember; suddenly Peveoto shows up and we suck! Same approach; placing our best athletes on special teams...no excuse...reassign him to backfill Brick Hailey's admin role

we should have onside kicked it with 15 seconds left in the first half last night. we were kicking from the 50 onside kick it. Huge upside very little risk at all

We have punted 28 times this season and allowed only 5 returns.... for 164 yards.

So this means that 40% of the punts we have had returned have gone for touchdowns no? No wonder im so nervous when we kick. Lol
