Are they elite? No. Of course not. But when the play calling changed to quick outs they held their own in the 4th quarter.

Rewatching the game and the problem is absolutely the play calling sending WR’s on long routes in the 1st half and most of the 3rd quarter. Dropped passes don’t help either.

The scheme is the problem

They were running quick outs because the OLine couldn’t block!

Lol
Shut up

They are still a below average SEC unit. Against our schedule, that’s bad.

It's just gonna hurt this year because they are young.

No push in the run game. We will not compete in the SEC without a running game.

We'll see. The absence of any kind of run game was bad. You'd at least think these guys could fire off the ball and get a decent run game going with their size.

We attempted 12 runs, that’s not even trying to run it.

Running slants and quick passes offsets the rush. Should have been calling these plays all game.

And there's obviously a reason for that. They got stuffed every time they tried.

The QB can’t throw. Either commit to the run game or last night is going to repeat itself all year long.

You're right that the entire line isnt bad. Center looked good as well as right guard. Lt with cambell will be elite in time. Kid was matched up against Florida State's best. But wire is terrible man just terrible. Has no business being on that line. Guy looked lost often in the pocket turning looking for his guy. He gave up a sac when they rushed 3 come on man. Had to bring in the tightends to help your senior block. Thats terrible.

We’ll do that. Don’t ask them to hold blocks longer.

We’re a tempo offense. I think We realized it.

This is not a good football team although I think they'll get better. I think my +6.5 win $$ might be gone through. Wouldn't shock me to see this team go 5-7 or 6-6.

This was my fear when the new staff came in.

What angers me is that they have the complete library of the greatest offense put on the field in 2019 and they dont seem to have studied it any.

correct. When Denbrock finally adjusted in the late 3rd quarter, our last 3 drives were long TD drives.

It astounds me that coaches see their team in practice for weeks and can't figure out that the OL is the weak point.

Even if Denbrock couldn't figure it out in practice, it was obvious to anyone watching the game after the first few possessions that the OL was bad, and long-developing pass plays and the traditional running game weren't going to work.

It took Denbrock almost 3 quarters to make a change. That's pathetic.

Daniel’s: one look and run. The defense figured this out and then just flushed him out of the pocket.
