He's one dimensional and panics when he has to do something else

it was a manifestation of what a lot of people have been talking about all year. This happened already at Ole Miss, he just turned into superman at the end of that one vs a much worse team.
He has a lot of things to clean up in his processes. A game like this has to make you feel like you should probably come back to college another year.

The bad news is Alabama is built to do what A&M did last night in the second half.
I don't see this....at all. This isn't your typical bama team. They are suspect in the secondary and on the OL, and Milroe is terrible this year with any pressure. They still have plenty of talent, but don't take the Missouri score too much of a tell. Missouri lost their QB and if he is not back, they may not win another conference game unless they still play State.

Not much different than I felt before the game. Give him zero running game and put him in a position where he has to throw it almost every down, he’s probably going to press and will likely make some bad decisions.

Nuss doesn’t look all that much better than in 21 when he was also going sub 50 in completions, throwing into double coverage and just making bad decisions

LOL
If OM gets Harris back before Georgia, they will beat them. If not, they are in trouble. They have a damn good team, when Harris is healthy and I would not be surprised to see them run the table. Also, bookmark it, A&M will not make the playoffs.

Garrett has a habit of throwing off his back foot and making poor decisions at times and that did not change last night. The lack of a running game and his poor decisions cost us that game when we had it in control for the most part

SEC defenses will figure him out very quickly. This board always lives up.

Nuss should not be taking all the blame. He doesn't call the plays. They are sent in to him. I think Joe Sloan has to take at least 60% of the heat.
And obviously we had no preparation for the quarterback after Weisman got pulled. Ugh.

We have a fan base that is extremely high demanding, which I love. It’s honestly what makes our program so special.
After Burrow and Daniels everyone expects Nuss to step right in and put up gaudy numbers.
Reality is, it’s year one for Nuss and he’s coming in on expectations set by Burrows and Daniels. We need to temper our expectations and remember it’s year one.
Sloan needs to chill with asking him to throw 50+ times a game.

papa, do you think that is the only reason we lost that game, lack of running game, and his poor decisions?
OL 2nd half?
Defense 2nd half?
Play Calling all game?

1. I don’t blame Nuss for the loss. I blame Brian Kelly, because Brian Kelly has proven to the world on plenty of occasions he cannot win when it matters most.
2. While Joe and Jayden weren’t their best in their first year starting, you cannot compare Nuss to them. Just can’t. Nuss is serviceable and is in a bad bad spot because of his coaches decisions. But he’s no Joe and he’s dam sure no Jayden.
