I see your point on game day coaching and play calling, but I was hoping our offensive coaches would have done a better job of developing this offense before they clicked in the Bama game. We have plenty of talent, just not doing a good job of structuring a game plan with a rookie quarterback until Bama in week 8

LSU is in great shape and Notre Dame will lose close games next year.

People have been asking this question since 2005. We're still a top ten team after eight years of him being here.

Dude. I have watched enough football to realize the are trends and ups and downs. But I am also not satisfied with 2 loss seasons and Capital One bowls when I believe the 2 losses were due to coaching. I see the arms race getting tougher around us and I don't want to end up with a Fulmer or Coker scenario.

You mean there are other good teams in the SEC besides us?

j/k

No not worried. A repeat of 08 and 09 might change my mind though.

We're all thankful for your high standards. You're definitely keeping the program headed in the right direction.

So if we all worry enough and think doom and gloom collectively then the stars will aline just right then LSU will win every for eternity.

Not at all.

Although next year's schedule is shaping up to be the most difficult in recent memory.

And we're taking some from them, and Oklahoma, and other top schools. We raid each other. It's what top programs do. Oh....and that's not debatable.

LSU will always be good, but in my opinion, Miles will need to do a "masterful" job of recruiting and coaching to keep pace with the SEC and National powers...

So does that mean that Les has been keeping up with them over the last 7 years with less than masterful recruiting and coaching?

It's just a matter of being glass half empty or glass half full

My best friend, my brother is a glass half full. I'm a glass half empty.

I would lOve to be more like him. To enjoy 10 wins and not be aggravated over what could have been.

He sees what is and that makes him happy. I see what could be and it makes me mad.

Differences in people.

Three national titles in four years says otherwise

I honestly think it's about to get the point where bama is uncontrollable - They keep winning, have great coaches, and have been getting great players ( dare I say better than LSU's recruiting hauls). I'd be a little nervous. I understand LSU gets great players from our state every year with little competition, but Alabama is getting great players from the nation
