Um, Ok. If you say so.

So you're saying that LSU hasn't beaten Alabama recently?

Sure looks like it.

You mean undefeated, Cam Newton led, National Champion Auburn?
National Champion Bama, who we beat already, and somehow got fricked into playing again?
Numbers 2 and 4 in the current BCS Bama and Florida?

Teams ranked 1, 1, 2, and 4? Sometimes you lose to good teams like that...as much as it sucks. Why are you giving Miles no credit for beating last year's Orange Bowl champ, the Rose Bowl champ, the National Champ...top ten A&M and USC this year?

Good post as well. On the Bama pre game show, Mike Detillier said there were 15 guys on both teams likely to be drafted in April, 9 from, Bama and 6 from LSU. Charles Hanagriff quickly pointed out that it would 9 and 9 with Mathieu, Faulk and Hurst. Yeah, it was disappoint to lose those games, but you're right, they were close and the dice could have gone either way. We have lots of talent coming back and should be in a position to contend the next couple of years. That's all we can ask. Its a shame too many can't appreciate it.

There really is no such thing. there are about 10 teams that are equally talented with another 5 being rt there.

Exactly. There are several teams with relatively equal talent. You mentioned Auburn and UGA have finished behind us. Except for 2010 when Auburn had a once in a lifetime talent in Newton, they were an 8-5 team until this year at least and UGA's be behind us every year, this year they had a much easier schedule. If they lose to Bama, they will probably be behind us.

The last 4 years LSU has lost a total of 9 games. 8 of those were to teams that won 10 or more games and the other won 9.

2009 we lost the #1 Bama and #2 Florida, 9 win OM and 10 win PSU (lets skip the vacated win jokes)
2010 #1 Auburn, and 10 win Arky, both on the road
2011 #1 Bama, who we also beat on the road
2012 current #2 Bama and #4 Florida.

Since so many like to compare everything to Bama, let look at the schedules the last 2 years: Bama has beaten only 3 teams with 10 wins. Arky, LSU and LSU. LSU has beaten 6 10 win teams: Oregon, Bama, Ark, UGA, USCe and A&M.

We are winning plenty of big games. It sucks that we lost to Bama 2 in a row, but as someone said above, that does not mean there is a structural problem with program. We will be contenders for at least the next couple of years.

Bama has lost at home 3 years in row. One of which they blew a 24 point lead.

WTF

LOL

ELL O ELLLLLLLLLL

This has been going on since football was created.. There will always be Tim Tebows, Herschel Walkers, High powered offenses.. Miles is doing a wonderful job sustaining an SEC powerhouse program and will continue to do so. LSU owns a&m of late. We just beat them at their place even tho we are hot garbage on the road, and We got them at home next time with a much better team with more experience. Manziel is leaving in 2 years and he's only one player.

Notre Dame has yet to prove themselves. Especially sustaining anything of relevance. There's always decent coaches out there. Big deal.

Any ways, if you do want to be concerned about someone.. worry about Ohio St becoming a powerhouse program again.. but then rest assured in the fact that the SEC still owns that arse!

Bama is virtually losing their O-line after this season. Bama is prone to losing at home. They have done it this year to a&m and to us just last season.

LSU is returning the majority of the entire o-line who is young, talented, gaining experience and coming together quite well since the Florida game and Hurst quit. Plus LSU may get starting LT Chris Faulk back as well. The future is bright for LSU. Very Bright!

We have 2010 ,2011, 2012 which is a clear trend of losing the big games. He lost all of them over that span from which the NC came from the SEC West. The SEC West! He has got to beat the teams of the West or LSU is dog meat. Why is this difficult for so many to understand?

He DID beat the team in 2011......is it LSU's fault Bama got a mulligan?

It will NEVER happen again and it's just unfortunate it happened to LSU and Miles.

What, other than winning the SEC and potentially the NC are his goals for the football program? Please explain.

Recruit well (which he's done) and give LSU the chance to win the SEC & NC year in and year out.......which he's done.

It will never be perfect but Miles is right for LSU and we just don't know what we have here.

Quit bitching

Also, since you brought up 2010, look at the final score in the Alabama game that year.

I do not understand this answer, but it is frequently sited on this board as proof that LSU can beat 'Bama. Fair enough, but what was the final outcome. 'Bama wins the NC. It may happen again this year while LSU gets the Who Cares Bowl. My point is simple enough, CLM must beat 'Bama and win a NC.

You were the one that said we can't beat Bama. You said that. So I said,"look at the score of the Nov. 5 game from last year."

I went further to say,"look at the final score of our game against Bama in 2010" since a good portion of your "argument" seemed to focus on our loss to Auburn in 2010. We beat Alabama in both games.

I figured you'd say something along these lines. You're one of the biggest trolls on this site.

What in the hell does "sited" mean? You made the same statement on the Score Board during the Arky game.

I don't think it's your point that's simple. Your posts have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is you that is simple.

Given that Saban is considered by you, and most of the CFB world, to be the undisputed best coach in CFB...I have a question for you.

Going forward, what do you think LSU's record against Bama should be for the next 4 years?

And what do you think our record would be in the next 4 games with them if we were able to fire Miles and hire your "Great All Powerful Mystery Coach"?
