The most fun part of all this

Is the fact that the horizon for this program is so insanely bright. Kiffin had to turn over nearly this entire roster, and had one spring and fall camp to get the entire offense up to speed in his system apart from Winnie. He also had to spend the money at every position group to elevate the talent level on the roster, rather than being able to trust his own practices and evaluations.

Can you imagine what this machine will look like when he has year over year retention? When every skill position player is as comfortable within the offense in week 1 as Winnie Watkins? With Kiffins eye for talent, when he has guys with the talent of Green etc with multiple years in the offense?

This isn’t to say we won’t be a heavy portal team, but being able to develop from within through high school recruiting is part of the reason Lane took the job, and he isnt going to need to go out to rebuild the core of his team every offseason. He is going to build this into a freaking powerhouse.
