Mett should have been given an opportunity to start the second he set foot on campus.Miles' stubborness and inexplicable loyalty towards JJ cost LSU.

Louisiana people do not have the work ethic to put championship seasons together year after year; this is why Saban left. There is a reason it is consistently voted the laziest state. People do not have the intestinal fortitude to put in the hard work.

What makes you think he would have played any better?

The fact that he had not played much, at all, after the Bama game?

The fact that Bama's D had weeks to prepare for the game?

The fact that he would have been in an immediate hole when he stepped on the field?

And LOGIC would tell you, based on his previous performance, that he was not going to lead us to a win.

Might he have...sure. But there wasn't a high probability of it happening.
that's when coaching comes into play, & we seen what happens when miles actually had to coach on jan 9. miles could have put shepard taking snaps, even honey badger, anything to get away with something that wasn't working. miles did not do everything in his power to try & win. i don't care if lsu would have lost 35-0, go down swinging

You Nega-tigers make me sick.

You'll be sorry when Jerry Jones or some other NFL owner steals Coach Miles away from us.

I think what most people are upset about is 1. we will never know because he never got the chance and 2. it was painfully obvious by the middle of the 3rd quarter (but still only down 2 possessions) that there was zero chance JJ was going to pull out the win.

The MNC is a joke anyway. It's nothing more than a popular vote. What makes bama more deserving than any other 1 loss team like Oregon, Florida, etc. Also, the stupid system takes away improvement week to week. Guarantee you Lsu or A&M for instance could beat anyone in a playoff. Quit putting so much stock in a corrupt system and getting all butthurt by a broken system you cannot control. This sport needs a full playoff like FCS. Until then, it's all bullshite.

If there was a chance he should have gotten a freaking SNAP then. There was NO CHANCE with JJ based on what we saw. It was actually unfair.

Even worse was Miles punting the ball with three minutes left. I still have NO WORDS for that. He quit during that game.

I like the man, but he QUIT.
