The level of hype for BAMA vs. LSU this November...

Death Valley, at night!!! Can't describe what it could be like!
Thats if they don't change the damn time to 3:30
As Bert Lahr mentioned in 1939...."IMMM-POCEROUS"

Besides, CBS has already agreed to a night time KO on Nov. 3. And I hope by "night" they meant 8:00. That would be frigging awesome.
I can see (and hear) it now:
P.A. Announcer Dan Borne':
"Ladies and gentlemen, after a leisurely fall Saturday spent tailgatating with family; and with friend and foe alike, on the picturesque campus of Louisiana State University and the mighty Mississippi; at long last - the lazy fall sun has been cast.....in shadow.
That could mean only one thing Ladies and gentlemen - it's SATURDAY NIGHT IN DEATHHHHHHHHHH
VALLEYYYYY !!!!!!! "

I guess I wanted LSU to beat Oklahoma in 2003 more than I want LSU to beat Bama in the regular season of 2012 because I remember thinking "if I can only see LSU win one NC in my lifetime I will be satisfied." At that point in time, for all I knew this would be the only opportunity I would get to witness that. However, in many other ways I don't ever recall wanting a win over another team as much as I want LSU to destroy Bama on Nov. 3rd. I am never motivated by revenge, but apparently there are exceptions to every rule.

You should want them to win more in Jan 2013. Beating them in Nov no longer means a thing.

All in due time my pretty, all in due time. On Nov. 3rd that is the only game that will matter.

I actually think that the historical appeal of Alabama vs USCw (arguably the two greatest programs of all time) is going to influence ESPN and everyone in all honesty to keep talking and talking and trying to make the LSU players nervous. Sure, LSU could rise to the occasion, but some of the younger players (Mett, whose play I believe will determine the game.) may let it go to their head and just get that "Nobody thinks we can do it." mentality.

It'll be insane, I'm pretty sure.
There were a few scaplers for the Arky game last season that wanted insane amounts for tickets.
We needed 2 and one guy wanted 500 a piece. He only had 2 and the game had already started. He went home and ate that ticket. Every person I saw talking to him said no.

Anyone think that if USC and Oregon are both undefeated that ABC will have that as their prime time game and will not want ESPN to show the LSU Bama game at the same time?

I'm in a wedding in New Orleans on Nov 3rd. Im pretty pissed about.

CBS agreed in a contract that ESPN would get that game as their first pick if they wanted it. I don't see ESPN putting LSU/Bama same time slot as USC/Oregon

One of the networks, CBS or ESPN, will show our game at night. I know, totally different owners and all that, but we were guaranteed that last year.
Not really concerned about that. Our game will be on tv.

I had to go to a wedding for the game last year! It finished right before kickoff and I was gone.

Even if it was a noon wedding. I could probably get to BR before kickoff, but I would have to park 5 miles away...

It will be bigger than last year. If Oregon and USC are both undefeated then they'll steal some luster. But they will hype the frick out of miles vs saban, LSU vs Bama, oh, and the fct that it's last year's BCSNCG rematch.
Not a lot of rematches the very next year.

Who the frick does that?
I got married on the tenn game and had a bad arse reception viewing party so it wasn't too bad. I made sure nobody in my party had plans on going. I wouldn't dare do it on a game that big.

Why do some of you care about a western PAC 12 game being hyped?
Let them have all the attention.
We'll keep winning championships in the mean time.

That's what my dad and I said! It was a member of the family so we had to go but really? On a Saturday during football season? WTF?
I won't say who but let's just leave it at they're one of the northern folks that don't follow football.
My dad and I were watching our watches.
"Do you? Yes."
"Do you? Yes."
Congratulations! Best of luck!
Gotta go!
