National sports news media, by heaping such high praise on LSU's backup QB

You mean game highlight commentary? The vast majority of the nation doesn't know who he is. This is a weird post.

Nuss’ highlights were all over Twitter, with some comparing him to Burrow and wondering where might he end up, like Burrow.

I know you and a few others are going to exhaust every angle to highlight Nuss over JD for the next 10 months, but I want you to know that there is a decent chance that you are enamored with the second coming of Jarret Lee.

Lee won every game before Alleva put Jefferson back on the team and forced miles to play him. Jefferson was a cancer in the locker room, the team wasn’t the same after his return.

I want Kelly to employ a two QB system for the bowl game and maybe for next season, to use the strengths of both LSU quarterbacks to LSU’s advantage. So, you obviously don’t know as much as you think you do.

Nuss and Howard. Jayden had his exit interview so it’s in his/coaches court.

Appreciate you, as always. Do you know the timeline? After the bowl game or before?

If JD has problems seeing the entire field , releasing the ball before the receiver breaks , throwing receivers open … at the college level , after 4 years playing time and extensive coaching … what will happen at the next level when the game is faster and passing windows smaller ? They say in the NFL everybody looks covered . QB has to throw accurately in very narrow windows and sometimes throw the 50:50 ball . CBK and coaches have been asking JD to do this . He CAN’T . JD is a good kid . Time to move on . Again , this is a business .

My company is like this. If my boss leaves, and then recruits me -- that's a violation of his employment agreement, and of an agreement we all sign when we leave. BUT, if I call my old boss asking about maybe moving over there .... that's an entirely different situation that my company really has no recourse.

It matters a lot who calls who -- I'm pretty sure college football/NCAA rules are the same.

What if your boss just happens to mention to a mutual acquaintance that he thought you did great work and would love to get a call from you about joining him?

Nuss already knows, or to put it more bluntly his NFL dad already knows who would be interested. Like CR posted earlier it’s all in Daniels and coaches court now.

Maybe JD was recruited for only one year with the idea he would move on to the NFL, and then Howard and Nuss battling for the starting job in 2023. This would get us through 22, which we all know was projected to be a 6/7 win season , at best, by everyone. The 9 wins may have complicated this a little. JD may want to polish his resume a bit before he goes pro, which means we might lose Howard. I'll leave this to BK. He can figure it out. That's why he's the $100 mil coach. I think we are fine with any combination of JD/Nuss , JD/Howard or Nuss/Howard with Collins coming in for the 3rd slot.

I think Jayden is going to the NFL. He could get hurt next season and not be a late first or second round pick

As far as pure athleticism, JD is off the charts! That being said, some days he couldnt hit water if he fell out of a boat. Wont make it in NFL
