With double teams on Jefferson and Chase...Marshall and Moss are going to be very important to winning the game and moving forward.

If they rush 4 and drop the 7 - we flare out of the backfield
if they rush 3 and drop 8 - we feast all day
if they blitz...we slant and pick up the first down
and if they do something else, we figure it out and crush that boomer even sooner.

See what I did there? LOL!

Go Tigahs...

The WRs are gonna eat.

I actually think the RBs, more importantly, ball security and blocking will be a big factor in whether we sweat it out or take their souls.

If we are able to run the ball with success early this game will be over in the 3rd quarter

They key is having the same running back for a whole drive who can block, catch and run. That's the key.

It's impossible to double 2 WRs against 11 personnel (1RB, 1TE, 3WR) groupings. If you play primarily dime, you will get gashed by the run. Play nickel & you will get exposed by the TE or RB in the pass game because you will leave 1 of the 2 in a poor one on one matchups & Burrow will exploit it. Same goes for 10 personnel. (1RB, 4WR)

The only way to slow down this offense is with elite defensive line play with at least above average secondary play to back it up

It's why AU gave us the most trouble

Right. It's that simple.

If you look at their loss to K-State you'll see that Kansas State ran all over them. If LSU can run on this defense (without their #1 tackler), and I think we can, it will set up the pass and it will be a long day for the sooners.

Iowa St. almost beat them, and their schedule has no comparison to LSU's. LSU is more battle tested, and since they are basically a option-run team they will not be able to keep up with LSU's offense all day.

Stop Jalen from running, and cover Lamb and it's a long day for the OU Sooners.

We won't wait to set up the run. The pass will set up the pass. The intermediary pass game will open up the long pass game which will open up the run game. You think we're going to wait to establish the run with backup RBs against a team with several defensive starters out?

This is the truth. OU simply doesn't have the talent upfront to pull it off consistently for an entire game & their secondary is below average.

I'm gonna lie, I want to see Racey line up where Clyde would when they go 5 wide. Racey and Chase on one side the field could be something dangerous.

Racey matched up against a LB.... a LB should have a chance.
