everyone here knows he needs more time to get his system installed. Let's do the right thing and give him the time he needs.

Yup. People don't realize that an unorganized street ball system takes time to install.

Obvious attempt to break the downvote record is obvious.

He did not get it done at North Texas. Overall record and in conference records barely over .500. Only one NCAA tourney appearance and a loss. He would not have gotten an interview at a major college except for his political ties at LSU.

Alleva and boosters made a mistake in CJJ. Time to get a better coach!!!! The rest of the SEC seems to be progressing and we are regressing. It's sad for LSU basketball.

Have you not learned the mistake we made with football? Alleva fired miles one year too early and we ended up with coach o. Big mistake. Let's not make the same mistake twice.

But he's the fourth winningest coach in lsu history. Oh, wait, that was three games ago, but he's rebuilding, but, but, but, hell, get rid of him and get Rick pitino.

And how much time does he need then? This'll be good.

At least another. Everyone knew this would be a rebuild year. Let's give the guy a chance to fix this thing.

. I know you are joking but dont be surprised if the unthinkable happens and jones is LSU's coach next year. If that does happen, Aleva will need to be fired along with jones before the season ever starts.

Under different circumstances I might agree with you. If it really was the basketball equivalent of Les's last season I might agree with you. But it is painfully obvious the team does not care to play for this man anymore. Have you forgotten the embarrassing press conference after last season? And what happens if we give him one more year? Do you think we sign a stud recruiting class and have a dramatic turnaround with the current players? No. This team is dead. Johnny had his shot--a 5 year shot at that--and he has failed. Tough shite.
