I find it hilariously ironic that the so-called "strong and silent type" fans always need to flex their faux intellectual superiority after watching a game played by college kids that is volatile and unpredictable.
Congratulations. You are the most level-headed LSU baseball fans who knew LSU would pull it out all along. Your certificates will be e-mailed out shortly.

I've generally just been avoiding this board if LSU is losing, the constant crying makes the entire experience miserable.
Nothing worse then someone LOUDLY melting while youre already stressed out.
Its selfish and shitty. I too will avoid the board.

I think a lot of them are just annoyingly superstitious and think any positive posts or thoughts will cause the team to lose.

Its truly embarrassing. This board is usually not readable during a game.

Well this is an every game thing and without searching... I'll go out on a limb and say that you've even made comments that can be viewed in that way.
Occasionally saying you disagree with a decision is fine, but level headed people will admit that they know the staff is making it based on factors we don't understand.
It's another thing entirely to question every single decision and make posts about "wrong decisions" or "bad coaching" every time a player makes a mistake or doesn't deliver.

I find it hilariously ironic you have a bunch of bitches MELTING down and giving up in the 3rd inning of a game WHILE calling the team soft.
You do understand that this is simply a coping mechanism for people who want LSU to win so bad more than it is a reflection of their fickle nature.

I clearly do as i stated the exact thing a few posts down. Thats also equally pathetic.

It's about how people handle stress. You can act like a pussy and start name calling OR you can act like an adult and support the team through thick and thin. Is it really that difficult?

Everyone processes things differently. That’s what makes the world more interesting. In fact, if everyone agreed on everything on this board, it would be very unappealing.

I mean, frick man.
What if they didn't pull it out?
Life goes on, why melt and be miserable?

It’s one thing to question a move, it’s another to then resort to Jay Johnson is soft, scared, west coast, short, terrible, etc.

Again, it's a college sport built on irrational fanaticism of adults and you're trying to apply logic and reason to something that's purely entertainment. And I'm counting myself in the irrational fanatic group
This place is called the Tiger Rant and you're legitimately angry that people are irrationally ranting during big games

It's pretty arrogant to believe that you can sit on your couch barely knowing anything about any of what's going on and criticize decisions made by people who devote their entire lives this.
Posted on 6/3/25 at 10:16 am to Hester Carries
I think a lot of it is people wanting to pat themselves on the back for being the first ones to recognize that the team was going to lose. They don't want to wait because they don't want someone else to make the call or explain why the team lost before they do.
It validates their baseball "expertise".

"I don't like this move"
vs.
"Stupid decision, bad coaching, out-coached, wrong choice, soft, coach giving up, etc."
There's a big difference there. No one will ever 100% agree with any coach's decisions, but its the over reactions that are the problem.

I've also never understood the folks in the game threads who post laughing emojis every time something bad happens.
Sometimes it's better to just laugh at a situation instead of getting pissed off by it.

Is anyone here tracking down Jay and telling him their ideas for how to run the team? No. You're blowing this whole thing way out of proportion. Jay will never even see the foolishness that gets posted on this board or the dumb stuff said amongst friends about how to run things.
