The sport of women’s basketball at the collegiate level has been in a super team era since long before it was fashionable in the NBA. Really since KM was at LaTech, it’s been a handful of perennial powers then everyone else.

Seeing what KM has done in half a year here (victories over current #13 and #14 teams in the nation already, probably more to come) really underscores how far Nicki let this program fall

There is no doubt Kramer”s mom is a hall of fame coach and one hell of a tactician. She is coaching a very senior group not to take anything away from her. Can’t wait to see what talent she brings in.

One is not dependent on the other.

Vargas was the worst WBB coach in the history of LSU. She just did not give a shite.

What about the old fat man LSU hired instead of Mulkey 20 years ago. BAD move.

Facts almighty. Used to work at TAF—during the season she’d casually roll into BR around 11am in her Cadillac and then break for lunch at noon. That’s just one small example, but she was basically there to collect a check and pretend to coach basketball.

Bigger issue should be with Alleva for allowing the Fargas charade to go on as long as it did.

Fargas Charade.
Johnson Charade. (Could've hired Tony Bennett when he was still at Washington State)
Joneshoyang Charade.
Shrimpy Charade.
Aramark Charade.

The point is it’s a similar team. Some transfers, sure. But the very apparent variable between last year and this year is who’s wearing the pants suit on the sideline

Unrelated but give a woman and a man a fly rod along with a few tips and watch the woman/wife pick it up in a fraction of the time of most men, almost 100% of the time. We're knuckle draggers lol

Once sent 30+ Airmen to an Army crew-served weapons range to learn .50 cal. Had two experts at qual, 1 male, 1 female (but sent only two women).

When I asked the range NCO whether it as unique for one of the women to hit expert first time out his words were:

“Not at all. The men come here thinking they know how to shoot already. The women listen to the instructions.”
