Well as a good little DemoCommie, you go back to supporting murdering babies (it's in the DNC platform), looting Cities, defunding Police, selling the USA out to China, promoting open borders (even with Covid you stupid fuks care so much about), lying about Russian Collusion for 3 years, allowing crapping in the streets, lying about Covid and ignoring its low mortality rate, destroying peoples lives, jobs, and promoting Communism. All you Democrats go Fuk off.

These conferences and the NC2A are concerned over potential law suits, IF the claims that some C19 positive folks develop heart related conditions.

Every athlete that doesn’t get drafted after being positive will claim the conferences made them play at a highly elevated risk. They became ill and developed long term health complications that prevented them from making millions in the NFL.

agree 100%

Never in our history have we had a bigger challenge with zero top down direction, decision making or leadership.

Just let everyone reach out to their own local (mostly unqualified) experts, form their own opinions and decisions.

Its hypocrisy and inconsistency 101.

This came up as the main reason following the weekend’s rumors. ESPN was talking about it. If the Presidents were given information from their health officials that there is data indicating asymptomatic infection could lead to heart issues then it’s a giant CYA for the presidents to shut it down. This was actually the entire talking points yesterday after they brought on the MAC commissioner. They don’t know and they don’t want the liability of being told it might be a problem and then later it’s a giant problem.

There’s nothing wrong with being ignorant. If you don’t know something that’s fine, you can always educate yourself. You on the other hand are willfully ignorant and pushing ignorance which is no different than being dishonest.

The liability argument doesn't hold much water when schools are opening back up and kids are moving into dorms etc. Kids coming to campus have the same information the athletes have and are subject to the same risks. All of the information known about risks has been provided to students and athletes. As long as everyone is aware of the risks and precautions are not ignored I have a hard time seeing liability.

Honestly, all conspiracy theories aside, this is true.

If there truly were a serious risk, ESPN would preemptively pull the plug.

They're ready and willing to pay for whoever plays.

PETA would LOVE that. That would be their chance to keep LSU from having a Tiger.

No, and that doesn't happen in football either.

22 players do come in close contact, but those players are tested at great levels and frequency than any other humans on Earth.

My daughter and my sister are both nurses. My daughter in Bossier City said they where never overwhelmed with covid patience in the least. My sister in Lafayette was furloughed for a month along with 34 others. There was and has not been an overwhelming emergency. Put down the kool-aid.

The thing that would make football different than regular students is the administration could say they put policies on campus to enforce social distancing, wearing masks, etc and those are impossible to enforce with football players when they compete.

I don’t really think the Presidents expect there won’t be any outbreak or that there aren’t risks bringing students to campus. But they can spin those risks while they can’t really spin none of those health guidelines applying to athletes.

Is it not hypocritical to tell the players of the Big 10 you can’t play football, but your buddy working at Home Depot every day can still go to work?

Because it's not the same people saying it. Once again, the government isn't telling conferences they can't play. Athletic conferences aren't forcing HD employees to go to work. This would be like criticizing Tesla for an employ policy at Amazon. The complaint make zero sense.

That’s why I think there is no way in hell they can stop the sec, acc, and big 12 from playing.
