Sorry I can’t edit video but here are screenshots.

The Bammer has his left hand holding Perkins’ jersey and the right hand on his facemask. Perkins his hitting the guy’s arm to free it.

As Bryce begins to run you see Perkins’ helmet jerked to the left in the pic away from Bryce.

When Perkins frees himself the guy grabs his jersey and takes him down.

Blatant, unabashedly holding.

Frick the refs for that one

Can’t believe Herbstreit and Fowler just slobbered all over Young too for a “heisman” play when the real story was this hold that prevented an easy sack for Perkins and likely forces a punt. It was begging to be called.

Another part of that play was the clean opportunity 11 had to smoke Young and just flat out whiffed

Bad part was, he was right next to the QB. I don’t know how they miss that

The fact that Bryce was next to Perkins on his left yet his body and head was turned right with the dude’s hand under the face mask pulling him is beyond question. I mean why would Perkins not turn to the quarterback immediately to his left unless the bammer was holding his body and head back?

The calls were atrocious

Yep. I was so pissed. All I could think of was TJ Yeldon all over.

CBK was right to take the game out of the hands of the refs By going for 2

The usual excuse is there is holding every play and the ref didn't see it because it wasn't near the play. Well no way that there wasn't atleast 2 refs looking right at it considering the qb was right there with the ball.

Just blatantly not called

Was it Perkins that got tackled on one play?

The one you have pics of is a crying shame. All they did was rant about YOung for ten minutes.

Yes. He goes down and the guy grabs his jersey to make sure he doesn’t get Bryce.

I firmly believe in the “holding can be called on every play” narrative but I also think obvious holds need to be called. That one was obvious, but when Skeen (at least I think that’s Skeen, didn’t look to hard) locked onto Perk’s facemask and you STILL didn’t get a call it became egregious.

Because they are doing it on purpose.

If I were king, there would be no such thing as holding, either side. May best man win.

That last frame is the damning shot. Several refs saw that in plain view.

That was the story of that play…he escaped because of the blatant hold

Exactly. Holding and face mask and hands to the face mask.

There was another call where two refs are discussing a penalty in LSU and I’m telling my friend… look they’re discussing whether to make the call the 10 yard penalty or call it a 15 yard penalty.

I don’t recall what the pantries were but sure enough the guy says… there were two penalties on the play. One was a 10 yard penalty and the other the 15 yard.

They assessed the 15 yard.

Ok I know that sounds conspiracy crazy but those two refs spent an inordinately long amount of time discussing. What was the hold up?
