You just got through saying he lost the Heisman bc he didnt put up big stats vs those teams. Now they dont c

You use those games to pad your stats, and through 4 he has 6 tds cumulatively.

Pretty weak Heisman year it seems. Few teams separating themselves from the pack

Just remember Fournette was running away with the Heisman until he ran into Bama. Henry had a great game against LSU and then carried it on for the rest of the year and won it. Nuss can definitely win it.

The less Heisman hype Nuss has, the better off both he and the team are. With the defense we have, all he needs to be thinking about is making good decisions that add up to us being an efficient offense.

Anything better than that is gravy, but just becoming efficient and complimentary without penalties and turnovers will bring wins.

A place kicker has a better shot at the Heisman than Nuss at this point. Just give me an above average QB play and I'll be happy.

You can’t win a heisman in September, but Nuss has already lost it.

He better start putting up 350+ yrds passing and 40 rushing per game to stay in the running 250 won't cut it.

You are two games too late. I'm a Nuss fan just like majority on this board but he's unseasoned chicken. He hasn't done anything to be mentioned in the Heisman race. I'm hopeful for change, but I don't see him as impactful as Jayden and Joe were.

Nuss is not good enough to win the Heisman. He is no JB or JD. Hates contact, just not tough enough and is playing not to get hurt. Happy feet Nuss.

Unless there is a DRAMATIC turnaround, Nuss is not winning the Heisman.
Will need HUGE games against OM, Bama … big road wins will help him get back into the conversation. A head-to-head showdown with Mateer could be the deciding factor, if they both trend up and Mateer regains his form off of injury.

You do realize he’s the best qb prospect in this upcoming draft and the only reason he won’t go #1 is of his fit in the Detroit/Rams offense, right? You’ve never watched him play clearly

The guy has 15 TD’s, 0 INT’s and 10 incompletions in the last 3 games

Nuss has 6 Passing td’s through 4 games. He’s not winning the heisman.

You’re talking about the IU QB?

Must be nice to play Kennesaw St & Indiana St.

He'll probably struggle against Iowa this weekend, but I think he has no chance against Oregon. We’ll see

He wasn’t 100%. He’ll end up with around 30 in reg season & hopefully a few more games left

You’re aware he developed at Cal right? The same Cal that’s historically an nfl qb factory?

Did you watch the Illinois game? Iowa struggled vs Rutgers passing game last week. It might be a close game as Iowa has the best OL in CFB and may have success running/playing keep away, but they’re not stopping Mendoza. Oregon’s front 7 is trash and will get killed by IU’s run game. Penn State may give them trouble as they’re also well coached and have a talent advantage at every other position

LINK

Go to 4:35 and watch that play. His manipulation of the pocket and secondary combined with changing arm angles to make that throw is flat out next level. Illinois won 10 games last year and brought back everyone, their DC knew they were fricked after watching his film. Literally said they were playing an NFL QB a few days before the game

Wtf are we even talking about, the guy has 5 more TD’s than incompletions in the last 3 games. It’s hard to do that against air

When is the last time Vandy won 9 games in a regular season? Or have they ever?

Vandy has won 9 games pre-bowl twice: 1904 and 1915

so yeah, it's been a while

Last 9 win season overall was 2013 where they won the BBVA Compass Bowl to get their 9th win after an 8-4 regular season.
