I know it’s still early, but Mateer was looking like he was separating himself from the rest. I hate he got hurt, but this is a good time for Nuss to get ahead of the few left in the discussion. Hoping Ole Miss is his breakout game.

I think Pavia deserves it, if he continues to perform

It'll be cool to see the first guy to ever win a Heisman and receive his AARP membership in the same year.

Yep he would prob be back as the front runner with a 300, 3 TD game

Indiana QB is gonna get wrecked against Oregon & Penn St

There’s pretty much zero chance he wins it. He’s already burned 2 cupcakes and didn’t put up huge numbers, and as long as we don’t fall behind in games Kelly is going to be content to letting the offense control things and winning with defense.

He'll need 4 more years of eligibility to catch Chris Weinke, who was 28 when he won the Heisman. But he would be the second-oldest, surpassing Billy Sims in that spot

I'm pulling for Nuss fa sho. He just needs one good game to calm the sceptics, then get back in the race for that trophy.

I've been a passenger on the Nuss Bus from the beginning. He's a Tigah.

Not sure, but Nuss likely just isn’t going to have the stats to win it. He might get invited but at this point it’s just not very likely.

Jayden Maiava

Plays a soft schedule and Riley’s offense will let him roll up stats.

Sawyer Robertson and Carson Beck are ahead of Nuss as it stands.

Nuss isn’t out of it but he’s fallen for sure. Doesn’t matter if he keeps winning.

If Pavia leads Vanderbilt to even 9 wins that deserves the Heisman in itself for that accomplishment. When is the last time Vandy won 9 games in a regular season? Or have they ever?

That’s not true at all. If he shines in the big games, he can definitely win it
