Sometimes it is. Firing Hallman and hiring Dinardo was a greener pasture. Canning Dinardo for Saban was clearly much greener.

That was last recruiting class. If we don't make a change soon it won't stay like that. It's hard to go in the first round with 2 catches a game

Yeah, because only first rounders start. 7 offensive players from one draft class, 7.

How about James Wright? He didn't even have 1 catch a game.

Most reasonable fans expected ~4 losses this year and that's where they will finish.

People wanna see LSU win with the talent they always keep.

LSU coaches don't always "keep talent". Ask Archer/Hallman/Dinardo how many good ones got away during those dark ages.

quote:

you posi's

Not a posi. Just fricking realistic that shite is more likely to go wrong, like Hallman wrong.

quote:

LSU is that type of program now and has been for awhile.

Because of great recruiters like Saban & Miles, two coaches who won't be recrutiing for us any longer if the negatigers have "change for change" sake.

quote:

Yeah, they lose a lot of talent every year, but they reload with great talent every year

Because of great recruiters, Saban & Miles. Not because of Archer, Hallman, or DiNardo.

quote:

but the inept coaching every damn time.

I agree. But Miles has been a 9 to 10 win a year coach and kept recruiting in the top 5, top 10 every year. Ask a Florida fan is they'd take that consistency right now.

quote:

He's buddy buddy with them so they are lackadaiscal.

So Tyrann Mathieu, PP7, Claiborne, OBJ, Landry, Mingo, Brockers, Hill, Minter, etc were lackadaisical? Or only the players on the team this year? Miles has been "buddy buddy" since he got here and it's made him LSU's winning-est coach with two National Title appearances.

quote:

It will always be the same shite every season.

Listen the Tennessee 13th-man game, the Ole Miss Spike, 1/9/12, the Bielema 1st SEC win, along with 5 of the last 7 years of intramural passing gameplans make me want Miles out of here, too. However, there is simply no guarantee it won't get worse. And the odds say, it would.

This staff does a-hole! The last 10 years if I say so. I'm not talkin about the frickin past. LSU wasn't a powerhouse back in the Hallman era.

yeah, pick out a few star players to argue against what I said about lackadaiscal players past and present. Just always another way to skate around shite. The real meaning is and you know damn well what I meant. Is that Miles' players, his damn teams to be specific for your arse are always ill prepared and always doing dumb shite. People on here no what the hell I meant, but you can be a sarcastic dick if you wanna. Btw, Mathieu and others did get in trouble a lot if I remenber right.

But sometimes, replacing an Arnsparger with an Archer and then replacing an Archer with a Hallman gets you a dispensation of mediocrity & cellar dwelling.

Is it worth the risk just to have a formidable balanced offensive attack, but find out the new guy can't recruit or sucks at defense?

Might as well as hire Mike Riley right now, and get used to 7-5, 9-4, 8-3 seasons.

This staff won't be here "a-hole" to keep the players and the program at a powerhouse level, so if they risk it by firing Miles and hire another Hallman, they won't be a powerhouse anymore. You are talking in circles.

Miles has won 102 games and lost 28. In what universe is that "always doing dumb shite"?

So that's Miles fault? BTW, LSU has only had 5 arrests in the SEC since 2012. frick, we could've gotten Gary Pinkel (16). Les is slipping.

Please go back to Saints Talk.

You are the typical brain dead frick that supports Miles' bullshite! Stop posting idiotic shite! I don't care to get into a pissin match. All the shite you said is just dumb! Let's just keep Miles' and the futility going because we are infatuated with his goofiness and quality bullshite. Dumb arse count!

and do your homework correctly a-hole. Haven't been on Saints talk in ages.

True, and Arnsparger did LSU dirty IMO, but Archer and Hallman were both grab bag decisions, and under the direction of Deen who's notoriety as an AD was earned by the profitability of the athletic program at the time, not really his spearheading excellence. Saban was forced on him IMO as he was on his way out. What brought LSU around in FB really had as much to do with Mark Emmert as anyone.

Much like our state, LSU has ALWAYS had the potential to be as big as LSU wanted to be. Still is. It takes getting out of the comfort zone and thinking big to win big.

We literally have the highest paid staff in America and the team they put on on the field for shut out by a 16 game SEC losing streak dating back to the end of 2012 when we beat em. We got shut out.

After a while, 9-10 win seasons while finishing no better than 3rd in the SEC West is no different than being winless.
