The Fournette/ Henry Debate

Let me start by saying that both of these guys are outstanding players. For those of you who maintain that Henry is superior to Fournette, here are the stats. In three years, Fournette has a total of approximately 3,650 total yards; Henry has a four year total of approximately 4,400 yards. These are the facts gentlemen. Both of them are very good players.

Yes, but Henry really is the better back. Maybe the best back in the NFL.

Save the debate for when their careers are over!

Just setting the record straight armydude.

No way to say that without comparing O lines, complimentary weapons, systems.... Hell, on the same team, who the hell thought Tannehill was any good at all!!

Is it me or does Henry look bigger and runs harder?

This year. These things have a habit of changes from year to year. SInce they are both really good RBs that could be either of them next year, or someone else.

Henry used to be an inefficient workhorse, but he’s been fantastic this year

Stats don’t mean shite.
But Henry > Fournette

Maybe this year. LF’s rookie year he was the clearly better back

Actually Ripley, stats do matter. Both of these guys had very good years.

Fournette is faster. Henry is bigger. Seems to me people gang up and hit Fournette and knock him down. It seems that people hit Henry and either get plowed or they drag him down from behind.

Who cares and how many threads are y’all going to start about it? Did you even look ?

This thread was not needed. 3 years old

No comparison......
Henry actually played for his team to win his final game at Alabama. Fournette did not.

After three years in the league, the stats are essentially even. Using just rushing yards is misleading. Example, LF has more passing yards and rec this season vs Henry’s career.
Offensive schemes are much different as the running styles, surrounding talent and even (most importantly) team management. To deem one better than the other based solely on rushing yards is pee-wee league at best.

Right now out of those two backs you ask 100 people who they want 99 pick Henry.
