LSU has been basically perfect in the turnover department. JLee has been terrific but he has made me nervous on occasion and has gotten away with some mistakes. That said I think the winner will be the team with plus turnovers. If either team starts turning it over the they are in trouble. If LSU is plus or even I say there is no way we lose.

The CF world may not understand what is happening with this team and this season, but I do

What I think the "experts" on CFB don't seem to get is that this team continues to get better and better.

It's the most dynamic LSU team I've ever seen and I don't think that we've seen their best ball yet.

That dipshit Joey Harrington was on the experts last night saying that "if you have 2 QB's you don't have 1 QB" bullshite about this team.

He said his concern is that when you get into that big game, you need that 1 guy who walks into the huddle and the team looks them in the eye and says "take me there."

We have 2 of that QB. We have superior WR's. We have superior special teams. We are capable of doing so many things on offense that we are a brutal matchup for any defense. Finally, the depth we have rivals Bama and they can't simply choke us out like they do every other team.

34 - 20 LSU

You know the entrance where Miles is supposedly holding back the team from entering battle? I honestly feel that this time it's real...they are on a mission and can't wait to strap it on and hit Bama like they've never been hit before! When you're the best at something, you want to prove it and leave no doubt...Nov. 5th is the time, Bama is the place, and this is the next step to the "Ship"!

Yep. I've been saying the same thing. Look at my posts.

I know this is not going to happen but how great would it be if we just came out and punched them in the mouth and won easily??

What do you think the media would say?

What in the bama resume' leads you to believe we can't "hit them in the mouth?" Please explain.

I totally agree with you on this.

I have a feeling no credit will be given to LSU on this day. The PTB will say Bama destroyed themselves instead of LSU doing so.

I believe that Bama is damn good in a traditional sense. This Tiger team is damn good in a dynamic way that transcends traditional notions based on the talent, depth and the way the schemes fit those things.

One could think that this team has not been challenged and that this is setting them up for a fall, but they have been. They had to endure distractions that most teams have not. They've had injuries. And they've been challenged on the field, but the talent of the team has resulted in those challenges, on and off the field, only slightly stalling this juggernaut.

Geaux Tigers.

Look nobody is claiming that Kansas St or Houston are as good as us. Two equally dominant looking teams should be pretty tough to call. Plus, not everyone is saying the teams are exactly equal(would both win 5 out of 10 times). Most are saying that, from what we have seen, it's too close to say who is better.

The OP hit the nail on the head. The most intruiging thing about the matchup is seeing what these teams are truly capable of when pushed. There is a real possibility that one of them will find another gear, surprise everyone and kick the shite out of the other.

I don't see Bama beating LSU by more than 7. I can envision a scenario in which LSU hammers Alabama by more than 2 tds.

It's human nature to an extent, not truly trusting that a team is as good as they really are in such a situation.

I'm sure most SC Trojan fans didn't go into the 2004 NCG thinking USC was 36 points better than the Sooners, to cite an example.

This is the best team in LSU history. I, for one, am not going to sell them short unless and until they indicate that they're anything other than a dominant team.
