My Dad brought me to my first LSU game in TS in 1973. I was 10 years old and could not believe how big and bright this stadium was at night. We beat the Miss St. team pretty good and oranges were raining down on the field all night. LSU got to go to the Orange Bowl after that season.
My mom's cousin played WR for the Bulldogs and we got to go down to the visitor locker room and stand outside. Their fans were ringing those stupid cowbells even after a butt kicking.

Come on!!!!!!!! Me and my Dad and the Laplace State Trooper's son or nephew were sitting in the SEZ right behind the goal posts!
My family was about 1/3rd to 1/2 the way up just to the left of the goal posts...
If I remember correctly, that was a daytime televised game and we scored on the 1st play from scrimmage.. but I may be confusing that with another game.
good times

LSU vs Wyoming. 1967 Sugar Bowl. Tulane Stadium. Raining. I was 6. We were seated beside the tunnel they came through. I remember the Golden Girls walking through tunnel. Still to this day can remember how beautiful they were.

I remember listening to the last few minutes of the 1959 LSU-Tennessee game. LSU won the National Championship in 1958 and was trying to repeat in 1959. They lost to Tennessee 14 to 13 after going for 2 points to win the game and not making it. People were more upset than when Kennedy was shot.

This October will mark the 50th anniversary of my 1st game in Tiger Stadium and I remember it well. LSU 10 - Miami 8. The 1st game I remember watching on TV was the January 1, 1966 Cotton Bowl win over top ranked R-Kansas.

1960 Sugar Bowl. I was a little kid and remember my parents being really excited about the game. Of course we lost to Ole Miss 0-21.

1961 game vs Tulane. We won 62-0. Rode the train up from Lutcher with my dad, uncles, and most of the male population of the River Parishes. I was 6. Dropped you off next to the stadium.

The first game that I can tell you who LSU was playing and when is the 1966 Cotton Bowl. At the time it was such an epic game.
I went to games before that because in my mind's eye I can still see Jerry Stovall playing. He impressed me because he looked so much bigger than the other backs. And he had big calves.

1946 - LSU vs Tulane - I was young but do remember sitting in the stadium and seeing the game and was aware that LSU won but what I remember the most was after the game visiting with my uncle (Dad's brother) who played in and injured his leg in the game.

1958 and I was 11 years old....I was alone in the my parents dimly-lit bedroom listening on the radio to my local Crowley radio station KSIG 1450 AM(was there FM then???)as my parents watched our first-ever recently purchased TV in the living room.
7-7 with a few minutes to play....Tommy Davis kicked a FG and the Tigers won 10-7. THAT began my lifelong love affair with LSU which continues today!!!!
FOREVER....L.....S....U.!!!!!!

LSU vs Notre Dame, 1971 Prime time ABC game Jones to Hamilton 28-8. Still hooked on LSU football.

LSU vs. Georgia Tech, October 5, 1963. Tigers win 7-6 and Billy Truax was ¡¡¡AWESOME!!! on both offense and defense. Probably the most dramatic Tiger victory until the Earthquake game 25 years later.

1975 LSU-Rice game was the first game I remember. Seven years old. It was also the first LSU game I attended and it was played in what was then State Fair Stadium in Shreveport.
