The schedule is challenging in general but sheesh 3 out of our first four games will probably be ranked matchups in Clemson, A&M and ole Miss. ole Miss and A&M will probably be top 10 preseason teams.

I know many expect Clemson to be an easy win but Dabo is still a proud coach and has won natties he absolutely will play up to his team all offseason that no one believes they have a chance that’ll be a tougher game many give it credit for especially since all the pressure will be on us to win that game with it being lane’s first game as our head coach in front of a rowdy tiger stadium.

A&M has had our number the past 2 years they outplayed us on both lines of scrimmages. Now on paper I think both our lanes are better and should be able to fight back against the aggies fronts this year

The ole miss game is self explanatory. That’ll absolutely be their Super Bowl.

If we make it out of that stretch 3-1, we’re set up very well for the rest of the season

4 losses would not even be a surprise with this schedule.

So you’re overlooking Louisiana Tech. I get it, but they do have to play the game and it’s not a slam dunk.

Year before last Tech's defense was really good. I think they actually had one of the best in the country. If they had any kind of offense that Tech team would've been REALLY good. Even last year they kinda punched us in the mouth on defense but who didn't against LSU?

Need to borrow that preseason prep from 2011 when we opened against Oregon. That tempo set the table for that season.

Idk if I agree with this. Go back and watch those games and we’re not getting worked for 4 quarters.

As we now know, guys were not bought into Kelly at all and so anytime things got tough we would crumble as a team.

We just had zero resilience so the end score always looked horrible,

Tech at home between Clemson and the Ole Miss/Aggy buzzsaw has me quaking in my books. Serious trap game credentials.

8-4 should be the floor for 2026 team, but feel like 9-3 or 10-2 is more realistic.
LSU will lose 1-2 games and it’s a matter of whether or not they fall in a trap game that plagued Kiffin most of his time in Oxford.

Wins
Clemson
La Tech
McNeese
Kentucky
State
Arkansas

Should win
Ole Miss
Auburn

Toss Up
Alabama
Tennessee

Loss
A&M
Texas

I want to see what Wolford and Cregg can get out of Weston Davis.

He's going to get much better coaching.

At this point, we don't know if he's serviceable or not. (He certainly wasn't under WOAT OL Coach Sylvester Davis)

I expect Darrin Strey, the 6-7 315 lb transfer from Kentucky, (Played under new OL Coach Eric Wolford) to be the starter at RT for the Clemson game.

Agreed. If we manage to start 4-0 I don’t see a world where LSU doesn’t end up making the playoff

Leavitt is light years more mobile than Nuss and actually seem to be better throwing on the run than standing still. If Seaton is as advertised I think we’ll be okay if Davis is still having growing pains especially because it’s not going to be leavitt’s blind side either
