The END game - CFP committee
This is a problem solely of the NCAA's making. The writing was on the wall as soon as the NCAA changed its rules. If the Conferences, or CFP Committee want to FAFO and jump off the cliff with the NCAA, it is certainly their prerogative.

If there's even a hint of foul play, LSU and other teams with these players will sue the shite out of the CFP and either add them to the existing case or file a new one.
Notre Dame is a bigger brand, by far. They made the finals for 2024. They went 10-2, with both losses being very close. They had a superstar running back in Jeremiah Love. If they had gotten in, I feel comfortable saying they at least win their first game. They got left out.
Vanderbilt is an SEC school, had a Heisman finalist, and was a huge feel-good story most of the year in the media. They went 10-2. Talk about their strength of schedule if you want, being in the SEC is supposed to take care of that... right? They got left out, too.
You can't sue the committee, because outside of conference champ autobids and 1 G6 (and now Notre Dame's deal), there is no hard criteria. They pick who they think is "the best".

The flaw in this logic is that LSU has ever been treated fairly by the SEC or NCAA. frick em.

However, you can bet your sweet arse if we are in the mix with any other teams for that 12th spot that we are screwed - just like ND in 2025.
fortunately, we'll be top 5 at that time
