The Curious Cases of Will Wade and Nicholas Sandmann

Someone with an agenda released a snippet of a video. Most of the world media and talking heads concluded this kid had run up and blocked this Native American protester and that his group was singing songs to drown out the Native American. He was condemned almost universally. Anyone that defended him was deemed a racist neanderthal.

Then we saw the whole video. The boy had never moved. His group was standing and waiting for their bus. A third group was shouting horrible racist chants at the school group and they were singing school songs to drown out the hateful chants. The Native America protester came on the scene late and, for some reason, decided to get in the face of Nicholas Sandmann and chant even though his school group had done nothing wrong.

In the case of Will Wade we have a snippet of AUDIO that was leaked to a reporter by someone with the agenda. None of us have heard the audio snippet much less the entire audio to understand the full context of the conversation. We have no idea as to the inflection and tone in Wade's voice as he spoke. Yet some are so sure they have enough they are ready to ASSume they know the whole story and are certain what Wade meant.

Another similarity is that folks like Lester Earl keep saying if Wade were innocent he would be screaming from the rooftop. Young Mr Sandmann was innocent and he did not scream but defended himself cautiously and methodically...and he was not facing the prospect of giving testimony in federal trial nor did he have an attorney advising him not to speak.

Sadly, the last similarity may be the lawsuit filed at the end against folks who jumped the gun without the full story. LSU will lose with that lawsuit NO MATTER if they win or lose the lawsuit if you think about it. If they fire Wade, how do they win the suit? By proving he violated NCAA rules?
